My boyfriend is Filipino, and he grew up there until he was a teenager. I haven’t made anything Filipino for him, but I know he LOVES Red Ribbon (we drove over an hour to San Diego to get the mango cake for his 21st birthday)...maybe I’ll attempt to make this for him for our first year anniversary?

Anything Filipino has a special place in my heart. My ex husband was Filipino and I lived with my in laws for several years. Learning about their culture and eating their foods was something I really enjoyed and wanted to teach our children if we ever had any. Although I have many fond memories and his family was kind to me my ex wasn’t and unfortunately we had to divorce. I feel sad still to not be apart of their culture anymore, it’s like losing a part of myself because I loved it and experienced their lifestyle for years. I enjoyed this video ❤️
