You should make a video where you actually put it to the test, since I have seen a video where that product did not offer any resistance and the door opened easily

I've pushed against it pretty hard and it definitely offers resistance, and I'm not a small guy. Although I don't personally want to try kicking in my door and cause any damage that I'll have to fix. I think a big part of it depends on the screws though. The ones it comes with are not great. If you use better screws, I don't see how you could get through it without a LOT of force.

Also make sure you are getting the one from Defender Security. There are a lot of cheap knock-offs that I would not recommend. It's possible the video you saw was one of those. Not saying it was, I have no idea, but it could have been. I wouldn't trust my home security to a cheap imitation product.

Woah, this is awesome! I'm going to have to pick one of these up. I've got a door that eventually needs a deadbolt this could go right on. Reckon if I put it high enough I could add the deadbolt later!? Awesome video!

Yeah for sure! It would be especially great to have if you don't have a deadbolt, and still extra reinforcement for after you install a deadbolt. Thanks for watching.

No. The door has to swing in.
