Wow I have this exact soap cutter and your the only other soaper I've seen with it. I'm in Tasmania, Australia. These sre beautifully Vibrant and definitely Spring looking
Its very easy to over trace. A trick is to stop early with the stick blender and just hand stir it until its at the right trace. This literally was only 3 to 4 seconds mixing and then hand stirred. Definitely try again its a fun method :)
You did a lovely job Sarah and I'm so glad to see you. That was a nice mix of colors and it was wonderful to hear why you chose them as your inspiration. Thank you for joining us in this collab.
I love your colors!~They meld so perfectly together! Your soap looks like a refreshing spring day-the perfect blue sky, blending into the grass, and then into that yellow that makes me think of daffodils in a meadow💙💛💚

Perfect execution of this beautiful technique. I loved everything about this bar. If you enjoy cedar, try mixing it with lime too. Orange really makes it pop too. I really do love cedar and citrus. I am so glad we got to do a Spring Quartet this season! Cheers xoxoJen
We buy them from S Korea via GMarket. global.gmarket.co.kr/item?goodsCode=757049060 you need to choose the 500g size mould and you want the option for the minus 3000 which is the square shape I use. Hope this helps
Bubbly lather is only created from a few oils, coconut, palm kernel and babassu are the main ones. Soap is usually made from a blend of different fatty acids to create a balanced soap that is firm, moisturising and bubbly
The chemical components that make up essential oils can become transformed and the cent can alter but the properties remain. In general essential oils do not hold as well as fragrance oils in soap

Thank you so much for clarifying that the marks from bubbles are from wired cutters. I didn't know that it could be prevented.

Beautiful! Are these colors micas? Clays? Thank you for the lesson. I am attempting it today
Yes they are Micas Chantel :)
So your telling me all soap is just oil? I’m so confused , what makes soap lather ?
Bubbly lather is only created from a few oils, coconut, palm kernel and babassu are the main ones. Soap is usually made from a blend of different fatty acids to create a balanced soap that is firm, moisturising and bubbly
I heard essential oils break down in soaps and u won’t smell them after a while , is that true? I’m new to soap making
The chemical components that make up essential oils can become transformed and the cent can alter but the properties remain. In general essential oils do not hold as well as fragrance oils in soap
@@SoapSchoolUK got it! So what’s your opinion on Castile soaps , they are super strong 💪🏽
@@SoapSchoolUK still trying to figure out how they get that to be and remain so potent
Castiles are mild and gentle soaps for sure
