    Great! This is the third time I have seen this done from others but the first to get really thin lines and the first to cut like normal.

    Such a masterpiece! Your artistry is a true inspiration, thank you so much for revealing this technique step-by-step. I've been admiring your soaps and I found you so skilful and creative, as well as generous. You've mentioned in your comments below that you cut this soap vertically - how come? I watched your two-coloured wood grain video, and it seems that you first cut your log into four big chunks, and then cut each piece horizontally. Am I totally wrong?

      Heather Clermont Thank You very much! 🥰 I don't know how to properly describe it. Sometimes, I didn’t pour to the end of my mold, I poured from one side a little bit and went back. And again, I poured a little more and again went back. I hope it is understandable 😅. Just watch carefully my video and You will see it 😁. And that’s it. And yes! Try it! Thin line design technique is really great technique 😍. I wish you luck!

      It looks to me like the knot forms because she tilted the mold, so that the first soap in goes to that corner, and all the other lines formed around that corner, forming a circle around it. I have seen tilt pours before, but this is such a beautiful, creative idea!

      jeanene72 Thank You! Yes, the mold need to be tilted. At least I didn't try it normal way, but I simply think this is better. And Your description is also correct 😊.

    Is this cut a certain way to reveal the wood grain?

      The cut of wood grain design have to be vertical, not horizontal as usual. I cut like that in my video too.

      Thank You!!! I don't really remember the exact measure, but I have usually weigh 80-95g and 2,2x8cm, but It depends of design.

    This is the best wood grain soap I’ve ever seen! The lye solution is deep brown, what did you add to it? And what other colorants did you add? Marvelous job, thank you so much for sharing! 🌺

      Kate K Thank You so much!!! I really appreciate it! ❤️ As colors, I used activated charcoal, dioxide titanium and micas doubloon gold, misty blue and hot chocolate. But in this case, I don’t use simply water, I boiled some chestnuts and to this I added hydroxide - This is the dark lye solution what did you ask. And the colors of resulting soap was changed a little bit because of that too. 😊

      @@pinguij7786 Not a dream, just try it :-). So, my lye solution is deep color because I didn't use simple water. I boiled some chestnuts and to this I added hydroxid. Also as colors I used activated charcoal, dioxide titanium and micas doubloon gold, misty blue and hot chocolate. Colors changed a little bit because deep lye solution. :-)

    I have never seen anyone put citric acid in soap. What benefit does it add?

      LaTondra Martin Citrate is used as a water softener. It is good for hard water. It prevents creation insoluble calcium salt forming during soaping. I hope I translated good, because English is not my birth language. 😁

      Allahguest Citrate is used as a water softener. It is good for hard water. It prevents creation insoluble calcium salt forming during soaping. That is why I am using this in my soap 🙂.

This is one of the video what I made for my Czech soapmaking friends and I don’t want and even can’t actually add another subtitles to it. I dont know if it is even possible.     J’ai essayé de. Traduire avec Google en prenant des captures d’écran, ça a donné ce texte :
    1- J'ai pesé les huiles et le beurre et les ai réchauffés. - - * * 200 - Mark 70 !
    2- J'ai remplacé l'eau déminéralisée par un bouillon de châtaigne et ajouté de l'acide citrique, du lactate de sodium et de la soie humaine. J'ai aussi préparé de l'hydroxyde de sodium.
    3- J'ai préparé des huiles essentielles pour parfumer.
    4- Et aussi des couleurs: charbon de bois de coco, dioxyde de titane, doublon de mica doré, bleu vaporeux et chocolat. Tout est mélangé avec un peu d'huile.
    5- J'ai d'abord ajouté des huiles essentielles aux huiles chauffées et les ai mélangées.
    6- Elle a ensuite ajouté de la lessive avec de l'acide citrique, de la soie et du lactate
