I did my own study with eggs. The one thing that I recognized was that when I ate the eggs my chest was tight. It felt like someone was sitting on my chest. I have noticed that if I eat meat products I feel sluggish and tired. When I don't eat meat products I can breathe better and also think better. I feel great. When I eat salads with fruit and seeds I lose weight quickly.

James Ballard Mate, that’s an anectode so it’s not really telling in of itself, but what your saying is in line with scientific consensus and data, also losing weight isn’t necessarily a good thing unless you’re over weight, the #1 and #2 of any diet, make sure you’re eating delicious food, and make sure you’re eating enough, if not it won’t be sustainable for you and you’ll fall out of it

@@skye_daylily7762 I am Canadian and the same is true here, sadly. Healthy Canada = no money for doctors. I am currently fighting Stage IV breast cancer with bone and liver metastases and my arrogant little oncologist doesn't believe me when I say I don't need pain medication, nor does he believe that my whole foods, plant based diet has helped me in any way. Really? I'd like for him to explain to me why I'm still alive after more than three years when others around me with stage IV cancer, who would not listen to anything I said about a WFPB diet, are now dead. Very sad!! I am actually starting to believe that they want their patients to die; that they get some kind of bonus for the number of deaths under their watch.

What the health promotes propaganda that fish and meat are unhealthy and actively
The title should be why vegan doctors like to hate anything that's non-Vegan I can make a whole video about why brown rice is unhealthy because the high level of arsenic cause cancer so therefore brown rice is unhealthy what about the DHA IN Fish is better than ALA in plants and much more bioavailableble I think I would rather listen to what longest living healthy Japanese are eating whole food unprocessed diets
just because most vegans are less likely to smoke and drink alcohol and eat less processed food doesn't mean that vegan diets are Heather at all the fact that pesco-vegetarians had the lowest hazard ratio for all-cause mortality in the Adventist Health Study 2 despite pollution? I can see the ecological and other ethical problems with eating seafood, but doesn't epidemiology contradict the claim that a vegan diet is healthier than a pescovegetarian diet? I don't think I know better, it's just that I see some contradiction here.
This study on vegans' use of saying vegan being Heather than meat-eater has clearly shown the opposite true with the fish-eater this doesn't mean vegan diets are unhealthy but not optimal as whole food plants based with some fish since this diet provides all the nutrients from plants and B12 DHA and more biologically available vitamins A and D, therefore, non-vegan diets can be slightly Heather than WFPBD
Not all vegans eat this diet vegans do eat refined carbs also added vegetable oils and mock meats is not correct to say that vegans are automatically Heather because their diet is vegan
Any idea, why pesco-vegetarians had the lowest hazard ratio for all-cause mortality in the Adventist Health Study 2 despite pollution? I can see the ecological and other ethical problems with eating seafood, but doesn't epidemiology contradict the claim that a vegan diet is healthier than a pescovegetarian diet? I don't think I know better, it's just that I see some contradiction here. Thanks for your reply.
The level of mercury in fresh Atlantic salmon is 220 parts per billion mercury so which means
That a 3oz serving is equal to 85 grams of Salmon
      220/1000000000 equal
0.00000022 grams of mercury x1000 to milligrams then it's 0.00022 milligrams x1000 to micrograms then it's 0.22 microgram x85 for 3oz serving 18.7 micrograms of mercury
The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) states that 0.1 mcg per kg) of body weight per day is the maximum safe dose of mercury.
      So 18.7 mcg from fish
      I am weighing about 73kg that's about 161 lb
      So
      Roundabout 0.10mcg per lb
so my exposure Is within the safe non-risk limit if I eat 85 grams every day which is a lot I eat about 85 grams of salmon 3 times a week so my total consumption a week is about 255grams that's equal to 9oz a week
Now we have to x3 the exposure of mercury that's come at
      18.7/161 = 0.116149068322981 x3 = 0.348447204968943
      Roundabout 0.35
I have to 7x the safe expound limit of 0.1 x7 = 0.7 mcg per pound per week is safe to limit
I only would get 0.35 which is well within the safe limit so at this level heavy metals like mercury are completely harmless to get a negative effect you need to be exposed serval times the upper safe limit so you are wrong about
fish contains omega 3 and DHA that helps the brain development and lower heart disease anyways if you are still concerned about this explore it safe to eat fish a couple of times a week the benefits of fish completely outweigh the negative so stop spending misinformation
If you still are stubborn about not eating heavy metal you do know that you're exposed to heavy materials at a far higher amount from second-hand smoke brown rice has arsenic that's doesn't mean that brown rice is unhealthy like fish the benefits outweighs the drawbacks of combining fish with prominently plant-based is optimal for health 👍
I am not saying that if you don't eat fish you will be unhealthy or anything you could live as healthy
Without eating animals products as well
I am just trying to inform people that spending misleading information about the health effects of eating meat and fish is toxic does not help promote veganism because veganism has
All to do with animals' ethics and the environment because both of these aspects are harming animals directly or indirectly
While health is a personal choice
nice logic very mon biased video 😂😂

I am happy to have bumped into What the Health and Forks Over Knives back in 2017. I was mind blown to find out people could eat only plants, age better and live medication free.
After giving it a try, giving up eggs for breakfast, meat, and dairy only three days in, I could finally get out of bed without pain in my joints. I also got rid of migraines, PMS, constipation.
This was the miracle I had been praying for! I will never go back. 🍊🍆🥔🍅🍄

While health is a personal choice
nice logic very mon biased video 😂

Keto works as well. The science is there. It is the secondary energy pathway for the human body. However it's not sustainable and isn't meant to be used as a primary food source. It's the preservation mode that the human body will use to take energy from buffer storage (fat) during famine or crisis.

@Natural Hulkster, BTW leaving an obtuse comment about scientific results does not do any good. The reality is ketogenesis is actually a part of the Krebs system and a part of our body's natural fuel system. As I said, it is a secondary fuel source and is meant to provide fuel to the body from fat storage during crisis/famine or hibernation. Abusing that mechanism will lead to other complications. You can make any claim about losing weight you like eg. just drinking water will cause you to lose weight. BUT the reality is that if you do that you will enter a ketosis state.

@Natural Hulkster, the science says otherwise. It typically removes fat very quickly because the body thinks it's in hibernation. I will agree that it has it's dangers. WFPB has no dangers at all. I am not promoting ketogenic diets but you should look at the science about what is going on. And to your point fasting ketosis and carb restricted ketosis ARE the same thing. It is KETOSIS. For the record you can have a vegan Ketogenic diet too. Stop being a naysayer about a scientific process. I get that you don't like the meat side of things and killing of animals (as is the same with me), but don't poo-poo a scientific process.

My circulation up to 2 months ago was really bad, when it was cold halfway up my fingers they would go white and numb, I suffered arthritis in my wrists, elbows and hands and shoulder, I had psoriasis and i was eating rennie tablets like sweets because I had bad stomach acid. I watched Game Changers, then Forks over Knifes and numerous interviews and looked at studies and papers from lots of people. Today is the 6th Feb 2020, My fingers don't go numb anymore, my psoriasis has gone, my stomach doesn't wake me up at night anymore for rennie. My joints ar so so much better, nothing in my hands and wrists and elbow. Another bonus is my thinking is clear, I can't explain this one, it's as if I can see out of my eyes and I am in the moment. It's a strange experience but great. I just need to stop drinking to much now...or maybe not ha.. I would say to people that read this, stop reading, stop watching, stop listening. Be a doer and try the plant based whole food thing for 2 months and see how you feel. I went into this because I want to see my grand kids grow up, I knew I was on the cards for heart problems. So...after visit to docs to take bloods etc, where do I stand. He said my resting heart rate is much lower, blood pressure is down, cholesterol is so so much reduced. Health is one, but so are animal rights and the environment. So even IF these “doctors” could find something detrimental to our health in the vegan diet, that doesn’t take away from the other two points of the triangle. It’s still the right thing to do.

Dr. Garth Davis is a hero! You can feel the frustration he’s experiencing trying to make his point and these people aren’t even interested in hearing him out. Such a shame that this is broadcast nationally. No wonder so many people are confused about what they should eat.

You know, I remember people being this angry and telling people how unscientific the people who were trying to get people to quit smoking were. My older relatives made snarky comments about having to smoke on the other side of the restaurant. Every smoker had a great great aunt that lived to 101 and smoked all her life. The China Study and other unbiased studies make very clear the benefits of avoiding animal products. I think the Whole Foods plant based diet will be considered a no-brainer someday.

Thank you for taking the time to post this. Dr. Garth Davis is a real *practicing* physician who cares so much about his patients and the public. He must have a photographic memory to be so well-versed in the literature - impressive! Didn't "The Doctors" on the show stop practicing decades ago? Travis practiced for a very short time out of school before he was recruited to the show. They are ridiculous! They need to just focus on their make-up and hairspray and let Dr. Garth Davis cite the research and prescribe the plan of care! I'm very grateful to everyone who promotes this lifestyle.

I was on the edge, and the documentary made me come over to the Vegan life. I’ve been Vegan for one week, I’ve already lost 6lbs, and the last two mornings I’ve not woken up exhausted. My energy level has been amazing! I had been pescatarian for three years. Lastly, I haven’t had a workout during this span. These pounds came off from eating whole plant based.

This video was great and loved Dr Garth Davis’s heated debate, he knows the studies. I grew up mainly on garden food with lots of beans and sweet potatoes just about everyday of my childhood. I’ve found myself alone and have went back to eating plant base and I feel better than ever. It helps our environment and stops cruelty to animals. Thank you for this video

I once met an owner of a chicken egg factory farm who told me that to avoid stroke, heart attack and high blood pressure, one should consume eggs everyday. And apparently according to him someone reversed her Type 2 Diabetes by consuming more eggs. He doesn't know I'm a vegan, so I asked him where did he get the information from. "From my chicken feed supplier". Oh dear hahaha

I wouldn't laugh, are you still a vegan? Most have woken up in a couple of years. They soon realize it's not a stable diet. There's never been a natural human vegan on the planet, and as yet, I don't see where these doctors think they should begin now.
