I recall saying the crudest things to a hawk that grabbed a chick. But what hawk didn't see was the rooster coming up behind him as I came up to him. The hawk survived no permanent injuries and dropped the chick which survived it's injuries. Rooster beat the ever living shit out of him and is now a legend in the coop. The Hawk is lucky I saved him from the rooster, hope he learned a lesson
No jok but I need this legendary battle animated
@@latiaslatios7766 Rooster even got a can of corn afterwards as a reward for being awesome, but he was too noble and gave it to all the ladies. To this day it was the closest I have come to loosing a bird to a predator.
@@Shep01 roosters are no joke
Used to have a pair of Roosters that encapsulated the duality of Roosters to a T
One of them, who I called Apache due to his black and gold looking coloring (and those being the colors of that local team), died a valiant and noble death fighting off a Fox, preventing it from getting any of the hens or younger birds in the flock, but was the most chill rooster freaking ever. Was the only chicken we ever had you could just walk up to and scoop up, he gave no shits, while his brother, who I called Crazy Bull, was a cowardly little shit who hid from the fox and let his brother die, but tried to act like Macho Man Randy Savage whenever people came around, though would activate run away mode if you so much as stepped in his direction
@@w花b 100%. The ones that don't take their jobs seriously don't need to stay.
The fact he can grab that without his hand getting torn apart is crazy 😂
It feeds on small birds. It's not an eagle.
@S.Trades Have you tried holding a panicking kitten?
@@S.TradesI fly sparrowhawks, they have a very strong grip for their size and they are very sticky footed so don't let go very quickly. It is very painful. This one is in shock. The birds in the aviary would have been terrified, as they don't understand that the avairy mesh protects them.
That thing ain't doing any damage. Your hands are extremely resilient. I got bit by a dog aggressivly and grabbed it's mouth after and closed it and pinned it down until it stopped attacking. I had a 2.5 inch bite in my palm and it immediately started gushing blood. I just washed it and held paper towel on it for about an hour. Could have used stitches but nah.
Point being don't be such a baby you are not as fragile as you think.

Aw, I know it’s not a nice thing, but he’s so cute and only doing what he was supposed to. I’m glad you let him go after.
Pretty sure it would be illegal to hurt or kill it.
It's nice to see ppl actually release animals that attack your own. It's just trying to survive and doesn't even know you're scolding it. 😂
He knows he was caught and will avoid people now which is the point
technically we should cook them because they're eating our pets. this is just a hawk but imagine pack of wolves murdering your cattle. as farmer you gotta make money and survive. what i did is grab hunting rifle and hunt them for my own survival.

Hawks are amazingly calm when in the grip of an unexpected human.
Also when they're left defenseless upside down 😂😂😂
They don't want to provoke you into tightening your grip enough to crush their bones
I think it's less calm and more shock and paralyzing fear lol
And much more especially with the one vid of

With the way you were saying "Sparrow Hawk" at him, he's definitely learned his lesson.

Sparrowhawk: 👁️👄👁️
Fun Fact: Kestrels or Sparrow Hawks are among the smallest raptor species on earth.
Neat birds I must say
Eurasian sparrowhawks aren't kestrels.
Kestrels are falcons, not hawks, and there are at least 2 smaller species of falcon - the hobby and the merlin.
Actual fun fact: Kestrels and other Falcons are more closely related to Parrots than they are to other birds of prey
@@rubbadubdub6543 Yes, exactly, only made confusing by the north American kestrel being called a sparrowhawk.
Sparrowhawk be like"Well,my luck had to run out sometime!"
Pretty damn lucky to be caught by such a even tempered person, when you think about it...
when you go to kill your prey but an even bigger predator catches you and scolds you for attacking your prey and then releases you instead of killing you.
Sparrow hawk: "I regret nothing!"
This guy said "sparrow hawk" with the same energy that Chris Pratt said "koopas" in that one direct 😂
