Mystery Ranch ASAP Backpack : The Tough Little Brother
Вставка

- Thanks for watching.. In this video I share with you the Mystery Ranch ASAP. So far I have reviewed the 2 Day Assault Pack, 3 Day Assault and now the ASAP. I have to say I am very impressed by the quality of the Mystery Ranch packs that are made in the USA. They are really on a different level. This pack could be used for EDC or short hikes. For me, I found it perfect for my walks in the woods.

Bro your videos are so professional and well put together, you're well-spoken too. I have not come across another UA-camr who is doing what you're doing at this level. You should have at least 600k subscribers and I hope you get a million! Best pack reviewer hands down.
Awesome introduction, I love your backpack videos! Thanks.
Good opening and review George. Thank you.
The opening remarks are elegantly phrased.
I own this ASAP backpack in black, and I’ve had it for about 9 months. It’s my favorite day hike pack, and I also use it for day trips out of town or sometimes to EDC. It is small, but it’s durable and you can use organizing pouches to make the most of it. I used the inside Molle to add a holster for my carry gun and 2 mags. The only small pack I like as much as this is the 5.11 LV18. Only downside to the ASAP is that it costs $275.
This looks perfect for using with an FLC or other web gear. The PALS on the front would accommodate G.I. sustainment pouches.
Nice video and I enjoy seeing the dog in vids.
Thank you George!! I’m going to get this bag next I think
Good ass review george! Let's get some topo designs soon
love the GSP, very loyal . great videos keep up the good work
Great review George! I have the Mystery Ranch Scree and I absolutely love it... like you said, the materials that they use are top notch! It’s extremely comfortable even with heavy loads. Anyway I thought that I would give my two sense.
Right on!
Just another awesome review. The double zips top access for water bladder or radio got my attention. My primary use is for ham radio in the field. I have a number of fiberglass and carbon fiber masts that don’t fit in any of my packs so I get them secured to the sides.
I’d actually passed on this pack because it didn’t have exterior water bottle pockets but your display of the inside with your water bottle caught my eye.
I have the Coullee 25 from a few years ago that I love, but it’s too big of a pack for what I use it for (and tend to put too much “what if?” Crap in it to boot).
Cool bag, thanks for the review. At 20L I would go with my GR Bullet 15L plus maybe a hip pack, or my Mission Workshop Rhake which is 22L. But when I actually go hiking I'm the sherpa for my kids so I end up using Synik Guides Edition 30L.
Man, I love the Mystery Ranch line of backpacks. I'm going to have to break down and buy one of these eventually. By the way, the price seems high, but I've reached a point in my life where I'm willing to pay a premium for USA made products, IF the quality is there and clearly, Mystery Ranch delivers on quality. NEED!!!!
Great job as always George, love your work and your passion!
George, did you get the S/M or the L/XL?
That pack is sick!
Your dog is gorgeous !
Good one bro!!
2020 has been extremely loud. Turning down the volume is so important but sometimes easy to overlook.
Thanks George for the reminder to turn down the volume!
That's a nice series of backpack sizes. If money was not an object, I wish that MR would make compression straps(with mini grimlocks to attach to side panel molle/pals to front panel molle/pals) optional for this bag. This review was informative and entertaining as always. Thanks for sharing. One.
kidbach yes!! I love this size, but it looks a bit floppy with no way to compress. Maybe some day I’ll invest in a 2 day assault.
Mystery ranch is the top of the line in backpack, but a expensive. But worth it. Regards from Chile.
That intro was awesome! Appreciate the thorough reviews as always. Liked!
I’d love to see an edc load out for this bag. Maybe a bag showdown between Mysteryranch and GoRuck.
🤔
Great video as usual, for 20L I'll keep my Direct Action Dust: More affordable, better mesh panelling for airflow, water bottle holders, a laptop compartment and more organization. This however looks to be a better pack as a grab and go with larger strap options and could fit larger items in.
Reppin' D/A Dust. I didn't think I'd like it, but it's a nice little pack. 👍
Direct action has a lot quality problems and its ugly
Nice vid -this is one of my faves after looking at just about every pack on the planet - but dang if lil’ bro aint trying to tax my pockets @$275 !! Yikes!!
The American made Mystery Ranch Packs are very expensive, no doubt. I hope George will review some of the foreign made MR packs at some point? Still very good quality (in my experience) but considerably less expensive.
Having the ASAP right next to the 2Day. The fabric feels much better. The laptop compartment is much tighter.
Informative video, like
I too own this pack. Had it for a few years for my EDC. Hard to find pouches that will fit the 3X3 side molle but haven't really needed it anyway.
Hope to see you pick up the new Kifaru Checkpoint EDC pack. I am very curious about it but the reviews are so lacking on info I will wait until George DEFINED gives the final word if I spend my money on it.
I want to buy it.. it's on my list..
I cant believe you only have 14.5k subscribers!
It's tough out here!
Another great review "my man"!! Do a review of the Kuiu Divide 1200 or 1500
I'm going to check it out.
@@GeorgeDEFINED I have both packs but would do a review no justice...so I'll leave it to your mad skills of production. But I think you would enjoy the packs since you're a organization freak as i.
Keep doing it cuz! I have the same pack in black on this side of the world. I love it! I have put it through hikes, convoys and military packed flights and it has held up for the last 4 years without fail. So excited to see your progression with these videos. Maybe we can do an offset vlog series where we help Dad with that Motorhome finally lol. Just a thought! Keep up the videos!
Stay safe Cuz..
Review a mystery ranch satl! I got a older one on the way but man the current gen satl is the biggest assault pack in their line n I waaaaant one so bad they look so 😎
I'll check it out..
Nice pack. Not for me, but it’s a nice pack. Thanks.
How the hell do you remove the sternum strap!?
Where did you manage to purchase this? I’ve been hunting one down to no avail. I have a GORUCK SK26 in Foliage and would love to own the ASAP in Foliage as my hiking/day pack
will you drop a hint on your next review as to who you think should fight Mike Tyson in November since Roy Jr is getting second thoughts? After your bag review :)
Mike Tyson should sit his old ass down.. sad seeing greats fight for money later in life...
I'm seeing the 2 day on Amazon for $199
Nice..
compare with MR Front?? 😉
Good idea 😉
Bozeman Montana , not Colorado
Bozeman, Colorado hahahahaah
Imagine caring. Hahahaahahahahahaba
Hiking without a giant survival fixed blade. We might have to revoke your online gear guy credentials. Direct Action has an assault bag with a vented back panel.
I don't do overkill knives for hiking..lol now hunting is another story...
Wish MR was cheaper.
Campsaver.com usually has some good deals on Mystery Ranch.
@@zfretz59 I'll check it out.
Hey George! Check out the Mystery Ranch Robo Flip. It's a really simplistic bag but extremely durable.
Thanks for the suggestion..
