BC60 CATAMARAN - introducing a NEW breed of Bering

- Bering Yachts founder Alexei Mikhailov is presenting BC60 CATAMARAN, a conceptually new aluminum explorer catamaran. Responding to our customers’ demand, we are making a new type of live-onboard Bering vessel featuring the same quality, safety, range, and craftsmanship.
This 60-foot flexible multihull platform is an ambitious but encouraging enterprise. Coming from our in-house designer team, BC60 is designed for leisure and adventure; relaxing day-long trips or rangy transatlantic travel is equally possible. It can be built in 4, 5, or 6-stateroom modifications. The main deck features a 50-square-meter interior area: a saloon with a galley, a bar, and a high-low table section. A semi-custom approach gives a choice between an open or closed flybridge. A huge cockpit can be extended to 35 square meters with the 10-meter swimming platform raised to the flybridge area.
BC60 has a shallow draft, improving the boat’s accessibility and making it perfect for the Mediterranean and Caribbean, and even includes some inner waters. She has cruising speeds of 12-13 with maximums of 15 knots. A wide array of options, storage space, and other amenities will make your trips of up to 3,000 nautical miles enjoyable and worry-free. It is always good to buy a Bering - now a Bering catamaran.

Alexi, for the record, ever since Victoria and Rico introduced you to us, I have been in love with your product and this move has only served to cement this love forever. At my age, I will never be in a position where I could afford your product but be assured, yours, or SunReef would be the only vessels that I would consider purchasing.

$2-3MM for a boat of this size that functions as an actual residence is amazing. Definitely on my to-have list one day, if for no other reason than to be able to complete a true circumnavigation.

As a polish guy jeje I love Sunreef designs but aluminium is my favourite hull material for a cat .
Would like to see the C80 , for me a huge aft beach club wuth foldable wings, hot tub in the flybridge. More solar panels and hybrid propulsion. Master + 2 Vip + 2 guest cabins + crew accomodation. That's my wish list 😅

She speaks to me of economic earning capacity, with flexie space. Comfortable size for near shore work. Would be timely to have a hybrid electric option for silent observation above and below the sea. I wonder about a DP system, hydraulic or electric. Perfect size for light science operation in the Pacific Northwest. Keep up the great design Alexi. We need to set up a building operation in Alaska for the B60 Cat.

please blog/vlog/whatever the build process for the boat ... I am surprised that builders pass up one of the greatest ways to get their brand/craftsmanship/etc out there ... and that is a well done youtube series documenting a build
I am picturing future models having solar hybrid systems or even totally electric giving close to infinite range. Although likely at a cost to some of the added speed being taken off.
Being eco-friendly is big for Bering. We are actively looking into implementing hybrid systems on our boats.

Beautiful. I own a 47ft power catamaran currently (and am selling it because want to upgrade to bigger one). Adding Bering to my list. No idea what the suggested price range is though for this 60 cat.
I have been to the Bering website many dozens of times, watched all the videos of Alexei and Nauti-Guys Victoria and Rico. A Bering yacht would be my first choice. I'm already working on my second million euros. Unfortunately, the first one didn't work out. :-))))))

This will be, again, making some waves in the explorer market. Actually there is nothing comparable yet. Some potential B72 buyers will be drawn to the Cat now. Comparable space. Seakeeping will have to show how a heavy cat behaves in a rolly anchorage or in rough conditions. Congratulations on your next big step of innovation!
