4:55 yes, jumping jacks are a type of fireworks. The dog saves a toddler from the pool and AES didn’t even need a percussion instrument to build the suspense. I don’t think I could have handled a longer song the first time I heard it

he did say in a short promo that the song was longer, had a beat, had a chorus, had Slug on it, but he eventually stripped it down to what it is now. to be the perfect example of less is more. I love this fkn guy.

Told you, this track is a 4D audio painted emotional manipulation, the man transcends whatever rap is nowadays. I heard this song in passing a few times till I managed to focus and follow along with the story, and when it clicked, I replayed it for 30 minutes straight, crying like a lil bish in the car. And it felt goood. Almost every time I hear it it brings a tear to my eye, and I'm not alone in that, just read the comments.
