There are some that say Aegean Airlines is the best European airline, but is the flag carrier of Greece really that good? In this video I'll take you along on a short flight from the island of Santorini (JTR) to Athens (ATH) in Economy. Great Trip Report! Disappointed with the cleaning on your flight. I’ve flown on Aegean twice on their single A319 and the A321 and both had hot meal on flights of 1 Hour 30 Mins. The A321 flight actually sold as an Olympic flight “operated by Aegean” just like yours. ✈️

@@nycflyertravelthey just keep the Olympic air name and IATA code more for nostalgia reasons. It is actually the same company and same crews etc. In the turboprops the have the olympic air livery and on the jets the Aegean livery.

I flew on an Aegean A321 neo back in October ’22 from Thessaloniki to Duesseldorf. Having flewn Aegean and Olympic my whole life, I have to say my most recent flight was my least impressive one. The horrible leg room is there too and it pains me after a 2 hr flight as a 6’ tall, 52 year old. I remeber these flights being much better.

The thing on the seats is not coffee.A passenger next to me on an aegean flight asked the flight attendant and she replied that it was the antiseptic spray.

What was the baggage allowance for the plane? As they say 7kilos for cabin but no check in bags?
If they bought an XLR they could fly you to Santorini all the way from JFK.

Airlines are disgusting with this appaling cleanliness. Soon, you will have to pay extra for a clean seat and tray, watch this space.
Haha yeah, Aegean really pushed that they were a health conscious airline, so I was surprised by the state of the cabin.
