- This is my First Big Project on a Real Jeep Restoration. It's an Old Soviet Gaz-69, I don't know in which year this car manufactured (If U know about this, Tell me in the Comment Box). I'm Really very excited on this project... First, I'm Really very thankful to every single subscriber. You guys made this a big community of more than million people.

Have to say that Jeep was in crazy good condition to have been in a field. It looked more like a vehicle that had been found in dry storage that had been placed in the field that day. The roof didn't look rotted it looked like holes had been cut in the material. Then the dry leaves on the inside, if leaves and water can get in then one whole season would be enough to put hundreds of leaves in it and the rain would have soaked and flattened the leaves. After a few years there would have been a nice thick layer of moist compost and any part of the floor that could rust would have been rusted away. No long grass under the car, no plants growing beside or through the car. The tyres sitting on the soil surface rather than having settled down into the soil.

Не думал что могу увидеть, что где то там реставрируют газ -69. Прекрасная работа, автор молодец. на первый взгляд ты делаешь свою работу на уровне наших рестовраторов удачи тебе в твоём деле))))))

Молодцы конечно,но нафига нужна была постановка типа вы его в поле у дороги нашли? Это же надо его туда притащить,спустить колеса,закидать листвой,зачем?
Ещё найти листву жёлтую, когда лето на улице и вокруг всё зеленое.

У знакомого 69-й с пробегом менее 300 км.
Сам реставрировал М-407 58 года.
Движок такой же? Зачем реставрировал, это миллионник, всего четверть ресурса прошёл? Не знал что в СССР такие дизеля были?

ну во первых машина в отличном состоянии исходном. Ее бережно хранили и даже ремонтировали. В лесу такую точно не найти. Двигатель не родной а уже менялся на что то современное. Работа по кузову конечно хорошая.
А во-вторых, трава ещё не успела выпрямиться по колее, после того как машину пригнали на то место перед съемками 😄

Меня тоже смутило, что мотор тойотовский. Меняли. Только я не поняла, чел сам решил заменить мотор на что-то более живое, или он изначально там стоял. Видимо, всё же, изначально, новый бы зачем перебирали. Но это не отменяет того факта, что работа проделана очень большая, мало кто бы вообще за такое взялся.

Это двигатель не газ 69, совсем другой двигатель. Мне нравится эта машина, очень лёгкая и проходимая. Ездили на рыбалку, Газ 69 тащил паджеро 2, так как паджеро 2 очень тяжёлый и постоянно зарывался в грязи. Таких машин даже в России не осталось, только музейные экспонаты. Хорошая работа 👍

Какой же это газ-69,с каких пор они стали дизелями,и праворуким. Но работа ОГРОМНАЯ,снимаю шляпу!
Это Австралия, поэтому праворукий.
Родной движок ещё до реставрации был заменён на движок от Toyota Hilux.
Рестораторы решили поставить 3.0 diesel от аварийного Prado.

So you drove it to the woods and let the air out of a tire then you went and claimed it.....good job!
My thoughts as well. Grass was not long under the car. Tyres were siting on the surface of the soil rather than being 6 inches deep. A handful of dry leaves scattered on the inside. If leaves and moisture can get in then within a few years there would be inches thick compost inside and very little floor left. No sign of any moss or mildew, not even a spiders web. And did 1960s Jeeps really have chromed air intakes?
I cringed during the "first start" when none of the leaves had been cleared from around the intake. But they disappeared pretty quickly once the engine started.😁

@Restore 4.0 PH Миф о том, что дураков работа любит, придумали умные лентяи. Типа, кто работает, тот дурак. Клип хороший и понятный, а уж есть там виртуальные сцены или нет - не важно. ( The myth that work loves fools was invented by smart lazy people. Type, who works, that fool. The clip is good and understandable, and whether there are virtual scenes or not is not important.)

It was apparently in quite good shape and intact to start with. Produced until early-mid 70s it would seem but apparently parts have been added later, such as the surprisingly good seats and newer looking steering wheel. Would not mind at all having one of these. How come it is right hand drive? Apparently not left to the elements for decades but parked because of engine problems maybe and kept reasonably safe.
