Check tyre size as disco 3 used 255/50/19, range rovers are 255/60/18, 255/55/19, 255/50/20 (supercharged)
Currently selling my td6, great car and most reliable diesel engine, that’s why I went 4.2sc, bypass the 3.6.
Give it a good hammer underneath and spray wax, keep subframes in solid condition.
Suspension is easy to change, not really hard cars to work on, parts are reasonable from aftermarket.
If it’s the td6, get the gearbox service as that’s a weak point, check for metallic sludge in the gearbox sump.
Great facts about the tyres sizes.. I’ll check but I’m pretty sure they are 255/50/19
The td6 is great but not the fastest out there, I don’t mind, it’s a cruiser

The rear lights are correct for the facelift car. But the alloys are off a discovery 3!
Oh! I’m not a fan of these wheels.. I’d like to replace them with the correct Vogue wheels..
Mine is a daily drive that I consider to be a project vehicle as well. It will probably require plenty of upkeep, but if you can handle the financial and emotional side of things there is probably nothing better. Mine is 2005 currently with 208k and still going strong, but have spent thousands over the last 6 years getting it so! Foolish perhaps but sometimes it’s not all about being ‘sensible’. Enjoy the journey!

I see the sat nav has the upgraded bag from the factory😅. Best thing I've found was a pair of knickers from an absolute stunner of a chick. They were moist too..... Sat in the the spare wheel well ffs🤦♂️
