- This color of the week was requested a few times. Its a dark cherry pearl and looks really good. Check it out Spraying this color is quite easy and can be used on Brake Calipers, plastic parts or anything that can be painted.

I really like the black cherry candy, obviously more work but I think its worth it. Awesome video once again!

its funny my color looks brown in the video but it looks red in real life.
any silver spray paint would work on candy right?
yes as long as its the same type of paint. If the candy is enamel use enamel silver. If 1k basecoat use basecoat silver. Get it.

Dave I really like the one you mixed up the best, as you said its hard to see how it truly looks over video but since that is all I have that is the one I really like.

Spray Chief was my favorite, but the Ford HH had 1 camera angle (4th clip) that looked the best.

Looks awesome imo, appears black in shadows but when the light hits it, its like a deep british racing green! Check it out!

Love that ford HH but I think u said it was a single stage paint but doesn't single stage already have the clear in or did I learn something new let me knw....next weeks color I'd like to see an awesome candy blue
yes single stage does mean it does not need clear bit finishes with full gloss. I said the HH was single stage because to me I dont include the clear.

I saw a bicycle in Wal-Mart that had a blue anodized look to it, it looked AMAZING! Would like to paint my truck like this but in red. How to do this? A silver base I imagine, with a red candy on top (dark cherry). Please show me how to make this happen.
See if you can do a sunset blossom red.

Would like to see jet black base coat coated with very fine mica Pearl colors diluted in bc blending clear and clear coated. Eg red, blue green, orange lilac etc. Essentually keeping car black.

looks good. im a spraypainter myself. i like to experiment with colors aswell. BUT, i have never tried candy over a 3stage white Pearl. try mazda 25D with different candy colors on top. PLEASE :)

Scheme is what they call a paintsystem in UK. So i just thought you would know what i ment 😁 what paintsystem Are you using? :)
ahh we call it a paint system. I use Concept Paints. But 4CR HS clear.
I never heard of concept 🤔 is it related to another brand? Like axalta owns spies hecker, cromax and standox. 4cr makes some badass products. And its pretty cheap aswell. Im using nexa 👌 they have this New clear called 8000. It flats out so Nice and easy. And it dries in 5min. At 60°celsius 😱

Black Cherry Pearl is a nice dark red (almost black in fact) with a nice red pearl sparkle in the sun. Black Cherry Pearl is darker than Wine Red and will look black from a distance or dim lighting.

hey there ive been following your site, i think its great i am working on a 59 chevy truck, and looking for a deep red maroon, burgandy base paint with a tint of purple/pink hue to it, any suggestions on how to obtain this color choice, or a Dark burgandy wine/Brandy wine color in a tow stage not a tri stage matter. any suggestions would be grate. thanks
