- In this video I spend an amazing 2 days in Punta Zicatela, otherwise known as "La Punta". The energy there was great! Many travelers from all over, great food, waves, and vibes! This video was filmed just 4 days before hurricane Agatha. I had no idea a hurricane was even approaching. I encountered a bit of rain but otherwise pleasant and hot weather! Rainy season starts mid May through October. I stayed st Punta Zicatel Hotel and it was amazing! I paid $150/ night which is expensive for this area, but the hotel was very nice and I enjoyed my stay a lot! Such a great time in this part of Puerto Escondido! Thank you for watching my video!

Stayed at that same hotel a year ago, in the middle of my month of wandering. You did a nice video. Not a rowdy nightlife area, but perfect for my day drinkin’ lifestyle.
My kind of lifestyle for sure lol! ☀️🍻 I stayed in a couple different areas of PE but really liked it in La Punta, it had a great vibe to it and I'll be back someday! I thought the hotel was great too. Thanks so much I totally appreciate it! 🙏🌴🤙
But quite expensive, 235€ per night 😓
@florecita del campo Wow 235, it was around 150/ night when I went. Wasn't my first choice as many others near the beach were booked out, but overall a great hotel with a great location for a couple nights!

@@matthewkingtravels yea same bro, went salt water fishing for my first time there too with Omar's Sportfishing and got a 300 pound blue marlin . Can't wait to go back to Puerto escondido
