    You should add a video of how they clean and service the combines that would be a cool one to watch.............

      Good news. I just filmed that on some John Deere S790 combines.

    Excellent video thanks, lovely location with those tall trees in the background. Looks just like England ! I would love to be there to see all this harvesting activity but your vids are the next best thing. I would happily buy you a pint if you are ever in the uk and i could regale you with tales of my driving a Massey 515 combine, john deere 965 and cat d8. Thanks and its all much appreciated over here in England.

    Do they have 2 grain carts or was that a different day with a different tractor at the end it's an articulating new holland running cart?

  • @justincase2830
    @justincase2830 6 років тому +1

    I love the sound of this machine inside and out.They are cutting in a "farmer's dream conditions.I wonder if cutting through the wheat stubble reduces or enhances bean loss at the header. I also wonder how many seasons the tracks last on the grain cart.Great video.

    • @bigtractorpower
      @bigtractorpower  6 років тому +1

      The wheat stubble has no impact. It just crumbles and cuts easy. It is swept up by the headed. Cart tracks will last several seasons. The key is to make wide turns of 120 ft or more. Lots of tight turns will wear the belts out fast.

    What type camera do you use? Thinking about trying to do some of what you do here in my area, NW Ga. Nothing on the scale of what you see and video but we have quite a few farmers with medium size operations with lots of cotton.

    Hi thanks for this video, I need your advice about wich is the better cr or cx or let me say wich is better Rotary combine or Walkers combine. Thanx ,

    • @bigtractorpower
      @bigtractorpower  4 роки тому +1

      It depends on what you are trying to accomplish. A rotary is great for fast clean grain handling. Especially in corn and soybeans. The walker machine is great for small grains especially when swathed. If you want to bake high quality straw a walker is best. Both are good machines with good samples. It just depends on the crop being harvested. I would talk to a dealer about your conditions and requirements. They will know the best solution.

  • @tsint
    @tsint 7 років тому +1

    Must you use a flex header when harvesting soybeans?

    • @boomerang379
      @boomerang379 7 років тому +1

      tsint Flex headers aren't necessary for harvesting soybeans. We use rigid Macdon and Deere draper headers. While they aren't flex headers they do have a float feature that allows them to follow the terrain.

    How many fuel tanks to the keep on site? With this much running simultaneously they must have at least 3-5k gallons on site I would guess. Am I in the ballpark or way off?

    • @bigtractorpower
      @bigtractorpower  6 років тому

      Most farms like this have a fuel wagon on a pickup. Normally the machines fill up in the morning before they start in the field.

    Nice video. It seems,good record of soybean. :) How much tons per hectar you have?

    • @bigtractorpower
      @bigtractorpower  7 років тому

      +Dejan Mijatov I am not sure on tons per hectar. These beans were running around 50 bu per acre. They are seeded in after wheat.

    • @dejanmijatov4947
      @dejanmijatov4947 7 років тому

      That is not bad record,when you seed after wheat.Here is also same,but if you seed soybean in begining of april,than is different.I have about 5300kg on hectar,but not on all fields. Do you again plan to seed wheat on that fields?

    What does it mean a "double crop" soybean? Sorry to ask, just curious?

    • @bigtractorpower
      @bigtractorpower  6 років тому

      Good question. Soybeans that are planted directly after wheat is harvested are double cropped. The field produces wheat and soybeans in the same year.

    GOOD MORNING!!! I WORK WITH CR8090 HERE IN BRAZIL STATE OF MATO GROSSO. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW A TITLE OF CURIOSITY WHAT IS THE SALARY OF A FARM OPERATOR AI IN YOUR REGION AND HOW ARE THE QUALIFIED HAND OF WORK ???

    • @bigtractorpower
      @bigtractorpower  6 років тому

      I am not completely sure. It all depends on the farm and the employees experience. I think $12-$14 an hour is a starting salary.

    Does caseih make these now?

    • @sstroh08
      @sstroh08 7 років тому +2

      interman 77 NH and CaseIH have come together to form one company called CNH. It happened in the early to mid 2000s I think, and that company is now owned by Fiat. So while they are owned under the same group, the combines themselves are still very different machines.

    • @interman7715
      @interman7715 7 років тому +1

      Thank you, I just thought the 8010 caseih looked a lot like a new holland .

    • @sstroh08
      @sstroh08 7 років тому +1

      interman 77 Haha no prob you're right. Look at the NH TSa tractors and the mid 2000s CaseIH MXU tractors they're almost identical. There is a few similarities with the cabs and I think engines and the such on the combines, but their threshing systems and over all design are a fair amount different.

    • @bigtractorpower
      @bigtractorpower  7 років тому +1

      The Case IH and New Holland combines are built at the CNH plant in Grand Island, NE.

      Maybe it's just personal preference but idk to me it's just weird so I'm sry but Its not just you everyone repeats themselves a lot but if you don't know what to say then don't say anything that's what I would like to see in videos like this
