    I love the idea of the one friend turns-and then you turn- thing. It's a simple concept but I can see how playing that game with someone would be great practice for both parties involved! (Competitive & Fun). This video definitely got me inspired to practice turns.

    I just got a ballet bar installed into my house and turns are my weakest point, I will for sure at lease be doing the bar excersise.
    As a male dancer, it pushes me so much more to see what I COULD become if I keep working at it.
    Thanks again.

    that was exactly how I learned to pirouette from 4th. I think the best concept is to take your time in the beginning to really make sure your alignment and technique are perfect for those 1/4 turns. This way you build better muscle memory.

    This is sooooo amazing ! These guys are so talented. I don't even understand how it's physically possible to do 5 pirouettes. XD I've managed 3, but I don't think I'll get any better ! Pirouettes are not part of the things I love doing, though. But when I see a video like this... Makes me want to practise more !

    I had an excellent teacher who taught us to keep our weight really on the forward foot while prepping in 4th for a pirouette. At first it feels a bit farther forward than you might think you should be. But when you pull up from that place, the stability/centeredness is amazing.

    Am I the only one trying hard to "spot" but still get dizzy? T_T I always lost balance while pirouette..any tips for me?T_T

    • @nmitch5883
      @nmitch5883 9 років тому +2

      Ive noticed I get dizzy easier when I'm spotting in the mirror because its shows the whole room there's to much to look at I do better spotting the corner or something on the wall at eye level

    • @nmitch5883
      @nmitch5883 9 років тому +3

      And if I notice I'm losing balance in my turns its usually because my muscles aren't engaged and my back is arched to much hope that helps
