First watched Made in Abyss in Febuary of 2021. Now 2 and half years + a second season later and it's still my favourite anime. I hold this show so dear to my heart that I honestly doubt there will ever be something that can surpass it for me
Usually in a soundtrack theres always one or two songs that are either horrible or just out of place, but this soundtrack is a fucking masterpiece! Jesus every single score is perfection!

One thing must be written about this show: it wouldn't be as amazing and impactful as it is without Penkin's music. Sure, story is intriguing, characters are well written and interesting. Motive of the the Abyss, it's levels, secrets, ideas behind them, all of it is mysterious, but Kevin's music elevates all of this even higher (no puns intended ;P ) to such a degree it touches viewer emotionally deeper than the last layer of the titular Abyss.
Everything about this anime is just awesome. It's a bit confusing at times with the manga in some places but that's what I love about it. And the artwork is amazing! I've never seen another anime anything like and if they made it into a game it would have so much more potential
