this is absolutely gorgeous, i can't say i've heard better covers for the outer wilds soundtrack than this. it's so wonderfully refreshing and new, while remaining true to the spirit of the original soundtrack throughout.
listening to a cover of these songs is always an emotional experience for me, somehow. It's got a bit of that spark of joy from when you first explored the game, married to the nostalgia of looking back on it and the bittersweetness of knowing you'll never experience it for the first time ever again. God, this is such a beautiful find. Such a marvelous remake of the OST, that doesn't just do it justice, but improves on it in many ways. I see many people in the comments think the same.
