This was my fiance's favorite movie and song. I spent 5 years learning to play the piano and mastering this piece. Last week I finally got to play it at our wedding and brought her to tears.

Great movie, a classic, next to spirit away, this my favorite of Miyazaki productions, princess Mononoke was a child whose parents abandoned her to save themselves, the wolf god raised her, humans need to learn to live without, in harmony with nature, is the principle theme in many of his movies, especially in “Spirit away”, a bathhouse where spirits came to renew themselves, another great timeless animated classic…until modern times, industrial modernization, vehicles, the Japanese always revered their environment in the Buddhist tradition, almost a lost world of beautiful traditions, even the Samurai valued respect and honor, as part of it culture, which in some ways still honored today, like sumo wrestling…..this music is hauntingly beautifully sad !
This actually makes me tear up a bit. Piano is a beautiful instrument I never could properly play. I never was musically inclined but I appreciate it so much more as an adult. I hear this and it makes me want to keep fighting for what I believe in. To keep grinding for a better future for me and my future kids and my community

Great movie, a classic, next to spirit away, this my favorite of Miyazaki productions, princess Mononoke was a child whose parents abandoned her to save themselves, the wolf god raised her, humans need to learn to live without, in harmony with nature, is the principle theme in many of his movies, especially in “Spirit away”, a bathhouse where spirits came to renew themselves, another great timeless animated classic…until modern times, industrial modernization, vehicles, the Japanese always revered their environment in the Buddhist tradition, almost a lost world of beautiful traditions, even the Samurai valued respect and honor, as part of it culture, which in some ways still honored today, like sumo wrestling…..this music is hauntingly beautifully sad !

This actually makes me tear up a bit. Piano is a beautiful instrument I never could properly play. I never was musically inclined but I appreciate it so much more as an adult. I hear this and it makes me want to keep fighting for what I believe in. To keep grinding for a better future for me and my future kids and my community
