Schecter certainly make some amazing guitars, irrespective of price. I know that they have a name for 'shred machines', but your review clearly shows that they can do more than just shred! 👍🏼
I truly, truly, truly appreciate that your demo was with clean tones. Really shows how great this guitar sounds for something other than ear wax melting high gain metal! Thank you!!!
I just bought one of these, in Dark Cherry, left handed. I really like mine. I got mine used. Mine is from 2010. I sat and listened to you play. Your articulation and choice of notation and feel is impeccable. Very nice playing !!!
That's one beautiful guitar, I still haven't gotten a Schecter, and that will change one day. Every time I've tried one I've always been really impressed.
It has become very expensive to watch your delicate videos…. This time waiting for this Schecter, but it was very difficult to find the Gloss Natural finish in Europe…. but finally… i found it.
@@JonIsJustTooLoud I guess its more or less the same as in Singapore - probably more…. But what makes it expensive is all your great reviews - some of the guitars I buy…. no, too many of them I buy 🥴🥴🥴
I came here from another channel that recommended your review of this guitar because you did such a fantastic job on it. I bought the Floyd Rose version of this guitar with the black cherry finish and it's my first Schecter. I got it for $500 after I asked Sweetwater if they would knock off $50 and then I would give them my money and they happily did that. But I am just blown away by the build quality, features, comfort, and sound. I will definitely be buying Schecter again. And yes you're very right the neck feels very good. After buying this guitar I realized that I will never need to spend more than that on a guitar ever because I'm just a hobby musician and it's more than good enough for me. I'm going to look your channel over and see if you have any videos about if you're making your own backing tracks and what you're setup and workflow is or what you're using to jam over because you sound incredible.
Schecter has been my favorite for quite some time now, they're definitely top-notch instruments. They've gained a well deserved reputation for being an incredible value for what you pay because the quality really is there, I've never felt like they cut corners to attract the budget buyer. I've only owned one of their "lower-tier" guitars ( a C 1 plus which I believe was between $450 and $500 new ) and I was _very_ impressed with the quality and craftsmanship on that one. I currently own a beautiful blue Schecter C 1 classic w/ a quilted maple top, neck thru construction and vine of life inlay which cost a bit more and it's truly amazing. I've actually been considering picking up the Omen you're playing in this video as well. I don't usually go with bolt on necks, but honestly I don't think it'll make a huge difference with it being made by Schecter. You certainly made this one sound pretty awesome, you're a very talented player. I really appreciate it when a review is done with quality gear too, you can't really get a clear impression of an instrument's sound if someone's using sub-standard equipment. Thanks for the review, I think I'm going to grab one of these pretty soon.
This video really helped me make the decision to get this guitar I was looking around at a few and after watching you play it and hearing how beautiful the guitar can sound and how good it looks I made the purchase can’t wait for it to show up thank you for making this video 👍
Just purchased this guitar, it's awesome. Loved your review with the camera shots and then the wonderful playing... no water time just a feeling of warmth and a musician showing what the instrument can do. Beautiful playing, subbed. Thank you 😊
I purchased this earlier this week on the recommendation from the sales person at my local guitar store. Listening to you play that was amazing and makes me feel like I made the right choice. I’m not interested in shredding, so it’s good to know what else it’s capable of.
That was amazing Jon! I just purchased the very same guitar today. I don't think I'll be disappointed. Thank you for the great review. Can't wait to get mine.
Wonderful looking guitar Jon. The sound is phenomenal. Not only a shredder tone wise, I love the cleans on this. The intro was wonderfully melodic too. - cheers 😃👍
Schecter is mostly known for metal guitars, but they make some really cool models that are designed for classic rock/blues/ country etc. They even make some really nice semi-hollow body guitars and the Schecter USA pickups like the Pasadena set, are really good, on the same level as many big name aftermarket pickup brands, because Schecter was originally a pickup company in the 70's before starting making guitars.
Oh I just bought that guitar and now Finally found a review on the natural version and I'm happy as a mid range guitarist can be thank you for your preference in natural! I love the tone and it has just the right amount of bluesy twang sound in my words when you tone it down to cover many Is musical genres, very nice
I think this might be my next purchase. I was scrolling through ZZounds and saw this and it is absolutely gorgeous. Sounds like it plays super well, which doesn't surprise me because Schecter is so nice for the price.
I definitely need a tutorial video on what you just played, and how to play like that, cause that was awesome!!! Also, just ordered this guitar, can't wait! Awesome video
Thank you for reviewing this guitar, I am on the lookout for a new guitar i think it gona be a schecter Lord willing 🤞🙏This white gloss i can't get my eyes of it😊
Actually in my country there are few good guitar options, and one of them was this model. I knew that Schecter makes great quality guitars. However, as rock player with a lot of clean in my music, i was afraid that this guitar wont give me clean glass tone. You showed me that it can be beautiful with clean tones too. Btw, ure playing was heavenly gorgeous❤ Thank you so much
I bought the 2018 model of this guitar in magenta, used, in 2019, but in perfect (not a scratch) condition. The purchase included a $150 Diamond brand hard case and the bridge pickup was replaced with a $90 Dimarzio Dominion pickup. Total price............$200. The neck is definitely one of the strong points, very playable.
Just picked up one in pink ( magenta?) burst at a pawn shop for $250. And yes, it really does sound that good! Thanks for the video, Jon! Man, that was just way too loud! 😜

You sound great! I'm thinking about picking up another guitar after about a decade of not playing. I've been looking for slim neck affordable guitars that don't sacrifice sound and this one looks and sounds fantastic.
I have loved every Schecter guitar I've played. I have a couple different PT's. This is literally gonna be my next Schecter. Gonna try a little experiment and throw a couple DiMarzio PAF's in it and see if I can make it into a Solid body jazz-slab. Hahahaha. It looks soooooo pretty and classy. I could see it in a jazz quartet. if it doesnt work, just toss the original pups in it and shred my face off.
Sounds like a satin finish on the back of the Beck, as you run your hand back and forth against it. I have a ASAT Blues Boy and tgecsatin finish is amazing feeling.
