I have five C-1 Platinums, and just purchased my first Omen Extreme this weekend. Anyone thinking of swapping tuners on their C-1, there's absolutely no need to. They look fabulous, and of all my guitars, the Schecters have THE BEST stock tuners. Even after months of not being touched, they will stay dead-on in tune.
I have a Schecter Snow Leopard and have nothing but good to say about it. Big fan of the schecters I've played so far, even the 8 string was pretty sweet
I love your old wood and leather neck rest, it has character! I am not really into Schecter, I always thought of them as members of the pointy headstock club, however, I have seen some of their more traditional shaped guitars of late and I like what I see, I also saw a video of the factory and their quality is Class A, look at how tidy their wiring is!
The color on that Schecter is sick! Dane, quick question, after you polish with 1000 grit sandpaper, do you do a wipe down off-screen? What do you do to clean it up so that the player doesn't get black fingertips?
This looks like a very good guitar. I've always liked the through body strings. This adds so much sustainability to the guitar plus the through neck design. I bet that guitar is a one hell of a rocker and sustain animal. Very few pieces to disrupt the sustainability of the guitar. Just what you need and nothing more..😊 My only wish for that guitar would be 2 volumes and 2 tone nobs and the togle switch moved to the horn of the guitar out of the way so when you are strumming it won't get into the way. Plus if you have to switch pickups you won't come into contact with the volumes knob.
Hey Dane! Nice video. When you did the Hummingbird string change you loosened and remove them one at a time. Any reason for that? Just the guitars age or any concerns?
My Schecter Snow Leopard I believe came with locking tuners. Great instrument. Prefer it over my far more expensive fender tbh. But I'm also a alt rock and metal guy mainly lol

Wow... both guitars look great! Really love that Gretsch.
Schecter used to call those inlays "Vector" inlays. I like 'em!

I have the same model and color, it's my favorite to play and I've decided to not modify it because it doesn't need it!
Hi! where did you buy it? what's the model/color name?
@@melissahildebert8954 schecter omen exteme six, I bought it through guitar center on one of their guitarathon sales.

that headrest seems pretty nice, but your OG could probably has some stories it could tell. Also, nice Gretsch
Am I right in understanding that the bridge on line 6 should be set higher?

nice guitar for sure and nice looking
What is the neck finish? satin??
Dane what is up?! That Schecter is nice and if anyone else hasn't mentioned, those inlays appear to be clay over abalone. I could be wrong.
Abalone & pearloid
This one is pretty!! In pink.. its almost a shame. There's nothing to upgrade on it.. maybe tuners??? Very nice...
