@@rheay Hi, as a dark-skinned African, it really stung to see sunblock/sunscreen being referred to as "anti-darkening" cream. I know it is not your fault as that is that is what is on the label of the product. However, in future, it would be best to simply refer to it as sunblock or sunscreen or anti-UVA or anti-UVB cream in your sub-titles instead of repeating the racist phrasing of the company making the product.

at the same time, if you wake up everyday and do the same things, wouldnt you just lived the same day hundreds of times over? what really get you up in the morning if you have tasted the things you have tasted, listened the things you have listened, and seen the things you have seen a thousand times already? What will you have to show for 10 or even 20 years have passed if you havent moved at all?

Starting to realize that I don’t need much to be happy. My room is full of boxes and trash bags as we speak lol.. little by little. This is so wholesome. I can't even imagine waking up that early to actually eat breakfast and do a skincare routine. Usually I just shower and brush my teeth in 10 minutes and run like crazy to my faculty. I grab whatever pastry or bread i could find in my room before I leave just to eat in class. Hope 1 day I'll actually be responsible enough to be like her lol

    • @irairod5160

I choose my work outfit the day before and iron/steam anything I need; that really helps me not feel frazzled as the day starts. In the morning, it takes me about an hour to be ready. I make time to exercise a little. I have a skincare and makeup routine I can get done in about 20 minutes. I grind, prepare, and drink coffee at home (no drinking on the go for me)...but I certainly should be better about eating some sort of breakfast. That's where I drop the ball, I've always neglected that part of "getting ready". I'm in my mid-50s, BTW, so things might not come naturally as you age. We have to make them happen! That's something I want to do better this year. It's never to late to pick up a good habit!

I have a 45 yr old son I never allowed to watch Mr. Rogers Neighborhood because he looked and acted like a pervert to me. As a child back in the early 1960s I was raped by a teacher and just the sound of Mr. Rogers voice would set me on a path for a bad couple of days. So here I am subscribed to a channel that has a calming method ... the way Mr. Rogers did for many others. I never made the connection till I read your comment. 😶

This was so relaxing to watch! You have so many advantages compared to other day in the life videos I've seen; most people get up and rush to be out of the door in 20 or 30 minutes, skip breakfast or eat something small on the way there...and work 11 to 12 hour shifts, plus have a 2 hour travel time round trip. I was so sad to see it--it's encouraging that you have the opportunity to take your time, take care of yourself, and come home at a decent hour. And your optimism made me smile! Much love from America! 💕

How nice and self-caring routine in the morning, I wish I had chance to do the same. I wake up at 6:00 am too, but I have to be in the office at 07.30 am, and I take a coffee only once there at the vending machine. I have to dress up and make up, wake up my twins (two yrs Old), make their milk and dress them up while crying (of course They do not Like early mornings) with the help of my husband. Go out within 07.15 am.
I know how stressfull life impacts on our lives, we need more mornings Like this calm ❤️ hope to get mine soon.

Elena Torrini agree, is always rush and stressful morning with kids. I have 2 girls. 9 years old and 5 years old. I wake up at 5.30am to prepare breakfast, prepare myself for work, wake them up, Nag at them to hurry up to get dress. Nag at them again to quickly finish their breakfast. Send them to school at 7.15am. Then rush to work to reach at 8.30am. Phew!
Watching this video really calms me.

you may not be able to do a similar morning routine like hers, but definetely try giving yourself some time to relax and take care of yourself from time to time :)
life with kids (specially if they're too little) can be extremely stressful, but don't give up entirely your well being and self care, if you find or get a day free, relax and take your time, it also helps a lot :)

It reminded me of when times were simpler and i was not really making much money, but i was healthy and living a routine. Back then it seemed so mundane but now that i am overwhelmed with some health stuff, even when i have all the money in the world, it didn’t make me any happier. I’m curious, because my new stepmom is Filipina, but the phrase “simple celebration with simple people” is something she says pretty often (well, something very similar at least). Is that just a normal way of saying it there? It just stuck out to me in this video and reminded me of her. Then, I saw your comment and realized it may be related to being Filipina.
