I am so happy for you Rhea and James. ❤️ My boyfriend and I have been together for 5 years now, but 3.5 of those years were LDR. When we first started dating, we were in our last year of high school and had to keep it a secret from my strict parents who would’ve disapproved of it at the time, so we saw one another sparingly. Six months later, I went off to university 3 hours away from home and that started our 3.5 years of LDR. Around 1-2x per month, we’d make an effort to see one another on the weekend where either he would drive up to see me, or I would take the train home to see him. Our situation wasn’t all that bad, but still tough since I missed him every single day he wasn’t there with me. Every day, we would Skype one another even if we were just studying and didn’t have anything to say. We would fall asleep together on Skype too, to make it seem like we were there with each other. After I graduated from uni, I lived in the same city for a few months before moving back home. After so many years, I finally get to wake up next to my boyfriend every single day, something I dreamed about since we first started dating but couldn’t do until 4 years later when we were finally able to live together. ❤️ It was incredibly tough at times, but so so worth it because despite the time and distance, we loved one another and that mattered more than any challenges we’d have to face. I can’t imagine how tough it must’ve been for you and James, especially across different countries!! I feel for you and am so so happy that you both are able to live every day with each other again. 💕

Otherwise, being "married" but not even seeing each other very often only because neither wants to live in the other's country kind of defeats the purpose of being in a relationship. It's put a damper on reaching my goals and dreams, but I didn't know how to handle it or be happy. Then I came across your videos. I was so intrigued, your videos are so different from most UA-camrs, and you seemed to have a situation a lot like mine. Working away from family, living in a big new place, working hard, living alone, and being in a long-distance relationship for a long time. I've been watching your videos for a while now, and it's been like a breath of fresh air after the rain! I've started cooking more great and healthy dishes and exercising, feeling happy while doing it! I find little joys all around me, I feel cheerful even when I'm alone, and I'm more appreciative of life. My work is so much better than before, and I feel happy in pushing forward! Hi, sweet girl! Today I just randomly found your channel, and I'm gonna say that your vids simply caught me. After watching some of them, came out this special one. It filled my heart with joy and hope. And what you said in the last part of your video, about LDR is all so true that it reached my heart. Me myself was involved in a LDR, for 3 years! I'm from Venezuela, and married my husband (from Dominican Republic) back.then in 1999. After around 17 years married, 2 kids and all our life in Venezuela, we had to split for a while (only phisically) because my country is facing a really hard hard time, so my husband had to move to his home country, Dominican Republic, with our older son (in 2016); so that he could make more money to help me and my family while at the same time, he saved money to get me and our younger kid out of Venezuela. After facing a lot of difficulties,, but keeping the hope, commitment, trust and strength; we made it and after 3 Years of being apart, me and my lil son came to D.R. and now, here we are all 4 together as a family again. So, this was my story. I Hope you and your husby have a great 2020; and also reach all your goals, and dreams together and individual. My.respect and admiration for you and him.

He didn't want to move and live in Germany from Belarus and i don't want to return to a poor country... We love each other. And i want to have a baby. But not alone! What would you do?😭
@@alina4tza Maybe find another country you both can compromise on? Otherwise, being "married" but not even seeing each other very often only because neither wants to live in the other's country kind of defeats the purpose of being in a relationship. Especially if you would like to have children. So, maybe see if there's another country he would like to live in, instead of Germany. Hope it works out :)

I don't understand why he won't unite with you unless there's someone else ( sorry for my assumption.. because a guy who truly loves a girl would move mountains just to be with her. Hello Rhea! I've never felt the urge to comment on youtube before, but I really wanted to thank you. I have been struggling with sadness and feeling lonely, and not feeling like pushing myself. It's put a damper on reaching my goals and dreams, but I didn't know how to handle it or be happy. Then I came across your videos. I was so intrigued, your videos are so different from most UA-camrs, and you seemed to have a situation a lot like mine. Working away from family, living in a big new place, working hard, living alone, and being in a long-distance relationship for a long time. I've been watching your videos for a while now, and it's been like a breath of fresh air after the rain! I've started cooking more great and healthy dishes and exercising, feeling happy while doing it! I find little joys all around me, I feel cheerful even when I'm alone, and I'm more appreciative of life. My work is so much better than before, and I feel happy in pushing forward! Thank you for your advice, it's really helped me in handling being away from my love, which really has been the hardest part. You've taught me how to manage myself and feel strong in handling whatever life throws my way! Thank you for showing me that if you can do it, I can too. Keep doing what you're doing, you are so unique in youtube, you give people hope and peace! I love your music, I wish I could know what they are so I could play them in my place! I'm from Venezuela, and married my husband (from Dominican Republic) back.then in 1999.
After around 17 years married, 2 kids and all our life in Venezuela, we had to split for a while (only phisically) because my country is facing a really hard hard time, so my husband had to move to his home country, Dominican Republic, with our older son (in 2016); so that he could make more money to help me and my family while at the same time, he saved money to get me and our younger kid out of Venezuela.
After facing a lot of difficulties,, but keeping the hope, commitment, trust and strength; we made it and after 3 Years of being apart, me and my lil son came to D.R. and now, here we are all 4 together as a family again. So, this was my story. I Hope you and your husby have a great 2020; and also reach all your goals, and dreams together and individual.

I am Japanese and my husband is an American. We went out for 5 years before getting married but the half of it was long distance relationship. I am much older than you guys but your relationship reminds me of ours when we were younger.
