Thanks so much for putting this up - its a minefield trying to discover the best use of brushes and so many tutorials just skip over the most fundamental of technical points; this being one of them! Having lived in SA for 15 years I can confirm the paucity of availability for brushes. I used to bring my own in from the UK. Italian Art shop and Deckle edge in town have a good selection but they sell out fast! Its about time SA started to make their own!
