My choice of paints is limited to a few colors. What is more important is the paint mixing process you use on the palette. A dynamic mixing process gives me more spontaneous painting results. Use your paint with confidence and let the paint help express the subject you are painting.

Thank you Tom - much appreciated.
Thank You for an interesting and informative lesson.
Such a useful video. I have been getting muddy work all the time. I am focussing on portraits and skin colours after end up grey or other scary colours. I get so into trying to get the likeness of the photo subject that I get lazy and don't clean my brush near enough. The way you work with colours are so helpful. Am starting out so this is great. Thanks again.
Excellent - clean color is so important for vibrancy.

Much appreciated Maria. Thank you.
Thanks for the heads up Maria new to Malcolm’s channel and I am a member of Skillshare but didn’t know he had classes on on there 👍
I want to use oil paint without mediums as you do
O. Please tell me what brand(s) you use in your paintings. Thank you!
Mostly Maimeri Classico for good student oils that are soft and strong pigmented. For artists quality Rembrandt paints are very good value.
Niiice
Which of these would you recommend if only 4 can be afforded ?
Paint colors?
What brand of white is that?
Looks like Jacksons in the UK. I was trying out some of their paints.
