I was a temp worker at the factory for about a month while looking for work in my field. We made Nutella in the same factory. The two are deeply connected. Nutella gets used in FR and the misshapen (but otherwise still good) FR get ground up and added to the Nutella. It's like the rain cycle, but for hazelnuts and chocolate.
That's really interesting. It's nice to see that some of these companies do not waste anything. I'm native American and that is such an important thing for my culture. I like your reference to the rain cycle as well.

Depends on what factors you're looking at. For speed, accuracy and consistency, the factory method is for sure the best. For the flavor, probably Claire's versions.
