My favorite Michael Jackson song is “Will You Be There” from the 1993 movie, “Free Willy”. I love the beat and melody, the choir humming and singing in the background, Jackson’s passionate vocals, and its themes of longing for friendship and love.

@@Animeyani991 I do not see any complexity with changing or obscure time signatures in his music. His music could have easily been written by a teenager because of its simplicity. Music in order to be good has to stimulate one's mind as well as one's heart. Jackson’s music does not fit this criteria. It is just pop music which I do not find at all appealing.

It's very hard to make a top 10 or 20 list of songs for Michael Jackson because all of his songs are masterpieces.
I've noticed that his song "Will you be there" was not on the list, and that was a good song too.

I said the same thing when I just saw the video. All of his songs are too iconic; they were written well, sang well, performed well, shot well, etc. MJ was quite a talent❤.

Michael Jackson had such a brilliant catalogue of songs, that it's impossible for me to pick just ONE tune. Despite his success and fame, he had such a tragic life, and he's still missed over a decade after his untimely passing. 😇

He had hella hits and it sucks that after the Leaving Neverland documentary was released, people tried to erase his legacy even though it would later be revealed that the accusers lied about their experiences. He's not a predator like R. Kelly, he was simply a misunderstood individual.

@@trinaqThere’s also a biopic about him that's in the works with his nephew playing him. While that's cool and all, I don't know which biopic leaves me skeptical about the families’ motivation for making them: The MJ biopic or the Amy Winehouse biopic. For MJ, there are three made for TV movies and plenty of documentaries, and as for Amy, just plenty of documentaries. Not to mention, there's also going to be a miniseries about her which I don't see the point because it's the same story. I'm sure that Jaafar Jackson(MJ’s nephew) and Marisa Abela will do a good job at playing MJ and Amy respectively, what more can you say about them that hasn't already been said?

There are singers who have hits spanning multiple decades like Janet, Beyoncé, Madonna, Stevie, Paul McCartney and Mariah but there really aren’t many.

My favorite MJ songs are Smooth Criminal, Man in the Mirror, Dirty Diana, and The Way You Make Me Feel. He was a brilliant artist and there will never be another.
Michael Jackson is literally one of the most PERFECT artists/musicians/entertainers to ever exist on planet Earth. His voice ALONE was perfect, not to mention his absolutely TIMELESS music, songwriting, dancing & all his other talents. He was touched by God (some artists just are, and he was). No other artist will EVER come close to competing with him, sad to say.

My favourite artist of all time. There will never be another like him. Am 35 now. He passed on my aniversary date and i remember i cried for a week and couldnt listen to his songs without shedding a tear. Actually, all the songs in this list are my absolute favourites. I will always love his music, he will always be remembered as the greatest performer that ever lived. Even my children love his songs, i dont really see how he could ever be forgotten. I'll never forget the experience when I heard the shocking news about Michael's passing. His "This is It" movie did provide closure for me but I still can't get over that he left so soon. 14 years later and it still hurts. I don't know when we'll ever have someone as talented and groundbreaking as Michael but he'll always live on forever including Tina Turner.

This was a great list! Of course I would’ve added a couple different songs and also place some of these tracks higher but I love the list. Remember the Time is my favorite🔥! Michael Jackson was the soundtrack to my life, and watching his videos on MTV and VH1 growing up, with every video feeling like a movie event of the year!! He and his family were beloved in our home and my little sister wanted to dance like him. I wish I got to see him live. He was a beautiful soul and a gifted talent! It’s a shame he suffered through so much and we lost him so soon. He pioneered a standard for many artists to follow for generations to come! Love all the song selection that y’all picked. I love all his music; hard to choose but If I had to pick a favorite song by Michael Jackson it would have to be Liberian Girl. I feel like Liberian Girl is one of the most underrated song along with many others like whatever happens, butterflies, and many others. Michael has truly left us many beautiful songs to hear and enjoy. His music still lives on even though he has left us 14 yrs already. All his music makes us remember who he is a great entertainer and humanitarian.

My favorite Michael Jackson song is “Will You Be There” from the 1993 movie, “Free Willy”. I love the beat and melody, the choir humming and singing in the background, Jackson’s passionate vocals, and its themes of longing for friendship and love.

14 years already…..without His Majesty the King…..I was 11 nearly 12 when he passed on. I clearly remember his homegoing service too…..his poor daughter was just in tears 😢😢😢
I have seen his son Prince live on stage and I can say with utmost respect and confidence that he really does have his father spirit…..he has his energy. He definitely brings a lot to the table and I know his father Michael is smiling down on him and protecting him as only he can. ❤❤❤❤❤

I still listen to MJ's music any chance I get. Beat It is still my favorite MJ song. And to this day, I still say if he was still alive his music would have elevated even further for sure.
