The Godfather is one of my favourite "lazy cocktails" - in fact, when I saw your video, I've just mixed myself one and here I am, a mere 60 seconds latter. Just omitting the orange, since I am allergic to those. My number one favourite cocktail is the Old Fashioned by the way, although slightly changed to give it a bit of a twist. I am a simple man indeed.
Love this. My quick drink is a Godfather. I always made them 1:1 but cut back the Amaretto after watching your videos. The 3:1 Scotch to Amaretto is much better. Thank you so much for all your great videos.
My guilty pleasure lazy cocktail is the Rusty Nail. I am also quite ond of yhe Dubonnet Cocktail and the Pimms Cup, which also meet the criteria for this episode. Cheers!
Hi, I love the idea of lazy homebartending. My tips for cocktails with only 2 ingredients are: - Hunter Cocktail 60 ml Rye and 30 ml Cheery Heering - Quarter deck 60 ml brown rum 5-8 years old and 30 ml PX Sherry - Gin & Dubonnet Who would have thought 60 ml London Dry Gin and 30 ml Dubonnet - Rum & Port Equal parts brown rum 5 - 8 years old and port wine For the highball lovers: - Rye & Dry 1:2 - Campari & Tonic 1:2 - 7 'n' 7 50 ml Jack Daniels old no. 7 and 10 cl 7up And still obviously the Gimlet and the Rusty Nail, you can also replace the Scotch with Vodka, works well too ;-)
I love a Garibaldi, especially at brunch, and I've mixed my fair share of Godfathers, as well. Of late, my go to simple pleasure has been a highball that is apparently popular in Jamaica: Campari and Ting, a Caribbean brand of sweet and tart grapefruit soda pop-although I regularly substitute Squirt because its much easier to find than Ting. Delicious.
Never had Cocchi Americano -- looks good; will try that one. Not sure about the Branca Menta tho. Never had that either, but minty coffee doesn't sound appealing for me. As always, thanks for these interesting and different cocktails! 🍹🥃
Definitely the Garibaldi, or the Torino-Milano, and a sort of Torino-Milano but with Rabarbaro Zucca instead of vermuth (...can I call it Milano-Milano then?...)
I was always quite fond of a Rusty Nail myself...

Branca menta + espresso! I’m intrigued.. 🌿

The God Father is one of my favorites. I'll definitely give the Gocchi Soda a try. Cheers.

My favourite is Campari and soda. Refreshing and lot of flavour.
Thanks Cara! I actually use your videos and Educated barfly's as reference for cocktails. I trust you two the most.
I find Drambuie with a small measure of ginger ale and a twist of lime over ice very refreshing. Especially in winter evenings (or afternoons)!
Love you Cara..favourites are Cocchi and Garibaldi
Hi,
I love the idea of lazy homebartending. My tips for cocktails with only 2 ingredients are:
- Hunter Cocktail
60 ml Rye and 30 ml Cheery Heering
- Quarter deck
60 ml brown rum 5-8 years old and 30 ml PX Sherry
- Gin & Dubonnet
Who would have thought 60 ml London Dry Gin and 30 ml Dubonnet
- Rum & Port
Equal parts brown rum 5 - 8 years old and port wine
For the highball lovers:
- Rye & Dry 1:2
- Campari & Tonic 1:2
- 7 'n' 7
50 ml Jack Daniels old no. 7 and 10 cl 7up
And still obviously the Gimlet and the Rusty Nail, you can also replace the Scotch with Vodka, works well too ;-)
I've never heard of a Hunter, but I'm definitely trying one soon!
How ‘bout Meyers and tonic?
My favorite two ingredient cocktail is the rusty nail. Especially as the weather starts to cool down here in the eastern US.

I miss Ting, used to drink it with rum in Scotland but I don’t think anyone imports it to Australia 😫 haven’t tried it with Campari though!
Garibaldi is a fantastic brunch cocktail. Will need to try Menta and Coffee, for me that would be nicer than an espresso martini.
I like JW Double Black and coke. Also Amaro Averna with tonic.
Ooh haven’t tried Averna and tonic but I do like a Suze and tonic - sounds yum!
@@BehindtheBarI want to Tri Suze, unfortunately I haven’t found it here in Mexico.
Scotch and coconut water is my favorite two parter. A dash of saline brings it all together, but that's the extent of it.
Oooh I’m intrigued! Haven’t heard of this one…
@@BehindtheBar it's delightful. Pretty popular in texas too. Works with most scotch other than Islay.
Branca Menta is my amaro crack! Too bad I don't own a proper espresso machine. I must try that combination soon.
Never had Cocchi Americano -- looks good; will try that one. Not sure about the Branca Menta tho. Never had that either, but minty coffee doesn't sound appealing for me. As always, thanks for these interesting and different cocktails! 🍹🥃
Cocchi Americano is fantastic. If you get some, you gotta do a corpse reviver no. 2
Favorite Pixar movie is Up 🎈
Milano Torino - Campari and Sweet Vermouth in equal parts
Great one!
I here gangstering does work up quite a thirst
😂
Two ingredients… You can’t go wrong with Gin and Tonic or Rum and Coke 😊
Your Garibaldi looks like a tequila sunrise……..
Is this like Breakfast drinks 🥤 Coffee, & Orange juice 🧃 😅
Haha a little bit 😇
Which brand amaretto do you use? Thanks for the video s.😊
This is a local one, White Possum Naked Amaretto 😊
If I'm making a mixed drink using coffee where's the Bushmills
🌴👀🌴

No Ferrari?
Well that was my initial plan but we didn’t have any Fernet so pivoted to the Branca Menta and coffee haha
Pour me a rusty nail
damn you got fat!!! great vid as ever.
Consider why you felt the need to make that comment.
Why would you say something like that?
