Even if I need to improve my acting skills I had a LOOOOT of fun making that intro. I hope it will at least make you laught a little. P.S. Watch till the end ;) Cheers!
I thought it was great! By the way, your channel is the most aesthetically pleasing cocktail channel on UA-cam. You've also taught me a lot of new recipes like the Naked & Famous. Cheers Jean Felix! I hope you're doing well all the way over in France! Good to see that Jean-Felix #2 got his wish at the end. =D
Keep being unique, this sets you apart from other drink channels and gives us viewers more to come back for than just the latest drink recipes… Amazing work, fun stuff, and keep it up!🤗
Loving the Double Jean-Felix!!! Great intro and I love you trying to close your self into the shelf. Reminded me of a vampire closing his Coffin. And Yes the Mai Tai is outstanding and out of this world!
Interesting this has come up in my feed now. Doing a rum event tomorrow with a spin off of a Mai Tai using hazelnut orgeat and some chocolate bitters in there too ;) Thanks for another great video Jean!
Love the skit you added to the beginning and end of your video, also sounds like you've found a way to remove the water sound from your mixology space. Keep up the great work, absolutely love your presentation style
I'm sure you see this all the time, but if you'd like to try a drink you haven't had. I recommend a Whisky Tart (my spin-off of a whisky sour). 1/2oz simple syrup 1/2oz cherry juice 1/2oz lemon juice 3/4oz Campari 2oz of preferred bourbon
Looks like you had a lot fun this time for creating the video. It was very fun to look at it too! Ahah! Can't wait to try this receipe! Cheers to both of you 😂
I did not even watch yet that I already liked it. The keyword was Mai Tai :) Important to insist on the need to pour with the crushed ice from the shaker. At the beginning I was pouring on new clean crushed ice in the glass but the taste is not exactly the same.
Very close to my preferred recipe, although with slightly different choices of Rum. Must try the addition of Rhum Agricole as it seems like a great idea. Would you be kind enough to let us know where you got the beautiful Tiki Mug? I couldn't find it in the video description.
I looove me a Mai Tai! I like mine boozy and funky 🍹😛 .5oz Pierre Ferrand dry Curaçao .5oz homemade orgeat .75oz lime juice .5oz Smith & Cross .5oz Doctor Bird .5oz Appleton Estate 12 yr .5oz Clement Martinique VSOP Lemon Hart 151 float Loved the into and video! Cheers! 🥃
Hey man, in my country is pretty hard found a Jamaican Rum, i can't find anywhere, so... can i change this ingredient? Is it possible ? If yes, which other rum is good for it ?
That's the beauty with Mai Tai. I feel like you can try so many different rum combo and "almost" never screw up. So I'd say to find a super tasty rum like Aged Agricole maybe.
That acting was good! Totally passable :D Great recipe. Also your weekly pronunciation tip, Don the Beach Comber, just lose the b, it is silent. Don the Beach Comer. Comer rhymes with Homer (Simpson).
Homemade orgeat can do that quite fast. If you don't like that, you can go geek and add some stabalizer like ticaloid 780 and xanthan gum. If you don't want to go that route, just stir it or drink faster LOL
I actually don't when it's for me. At the bar I often do it because it's kind of the new norm but I kind of feel that floats mess with the taste and balance of the cocktails. When I want an extra shot of rum, I just pour myself one, and I often do LOL
@@TrufflesOnTheRocks got you, thanks for answer,i'm in kind of searching for a "perfect" mai tai - which is impossible, i know, but asking for opinions. thanks for answer by the way, love your videos and greets from Greece :)

haha, I love the intro! The grassiness from the rum Agricole sounds delicious in Mai Tai. I have to try it out someday. Cheers!
Thanks Kev! Are you telling me you never had agricole in a Mai Tai? Bro you're missing out ;) Cheers!
Best cocktail ever invented. Can’t get enough of it
Cheers!
The two you are just perfect 😂 I loove it!!

HAHAHA!!! It would have been cool for an Halloween special LOL
The intro was a lot of fun, because goofing off contrasts so well to the professional style of your cocktail presentations
Thanks! Glad you liked it. Also like the fact you think my presentation is "professional" :) Cheers!
Keep having fun making theses delicious cocktails, gotta try it at work !
Thanks Mathias! I'll try ;) Cheers!
That's an awesome bookshelf!
If I ever open a speakeasy, I want it as the secret entrance
Awesomeness! 🍹
Such a fun and clever video. Enjoyed it and always love a good Mai Tai. Cheers!

Hi Marcel. I'm glad you liked it ;) I did add a sound blanket in the space. I think it helped a lot. Cheers!

Funny how small details can make a big difference sometimes right? Cheers Anthony
I was waiting for the plunge in the pool, haha 😂 but I'll take the Mai Tai. You can't go wrong with a properly made Mai Tai 👍
HAHAHA!!! You know I really thought doing it for the sake of the video but it really was too cold.
Now I need to go buy some more rum
Sorry for the bad influence LOL

Sounds delicious!
You should use Koloa dark rum as the floater.
Gotcha in IG! Glad I got this right😁
Wonderful! See ya there too :)
I might bring this to my annual drink night!
Can I substitute the rums with similar rums if I dont find the brands you used?
Of course! As I said, that's kind of the beauty with this drink.
No.
Is there a better rum drink? I've yet to find it, well, maybe a simple Daq
Daiquiri is probably my fav but in a bar, if there's a Mai Tai and a Daq, I would pick the Mai Tai

No Agricole available in Canada :-(
