      @@louisel940 no.
You could say how much time. Because that would be talking about how long something has taken.
Or you can say how many times. That is talking about the number of occurrences.
Basically "much" is describing a large amount of something. While "many" is describing a large number of something. So because the original comment said "times", they were referring to the number of separate occasions Dr manning trys.

@@louisel940 many sounds better because it is grammatically correct.
"Much" is used for uncountable nouns, "Many" is used for countable nouns.
Because "times" is a plural noun, it can be counted and therefore requires "many".
      Again.
      "Much time" is correct
      "Many times" is correct
Now as for your comment about correcting someone.
Firstly I wasn't correcting the original comment, I was correcting you. Because you were basically saying "I'm pretty sure you're both right." So I explained the difference between much and many. To show you how even though they are similar, they don't mean the same thing and can't be used interchangeably.
Secondly, Correcting someone isn't rude. How can someone learn from their mistakes if no one tells them they are incorrect? By telling people that they should just let people make mistakes, you're limiting how much that person can grow/understand things.
Now that doesn't excuse someone to be a jerk when giving corrections. There is no reason to belittle someone for making a mistake.
If you don't believe me, then Google it.

They are little fighters and sadly some of them end up like this as well saved for few days and then their bodies get too tired due to complications from prematurity

Well, that's just poor writing then. The woman gave them closure. They got to meet and say goodbye to their child. IRL it would be more likely for a mother that didn't get to see her baby die, not believe doctors and think her baby is still alive and stolen from her.

    • @CarlosCanal580
      @CarlosCanal580 4 роки тому +175

@@peaceoglory There was no closure in this, Manning thought the baby could survive and convinced the parents to believe that as well, the mother was clearly emotionally unstable and in no position to accept the situation. You can see this when the baby is finally about to die and the mother decides to change her mind (all because of Manning) and tells the doctors to resuscitate him. I mean, Halsted clearly stated that even if their child survived he would have several issues (and for the rest of his life), pardon me but that's just cruel, Manning was only thinking about "saving the baby" and not quality of life or the well being of the parents.

She informed the parents about the unlikelihood of the baby’s surviving but said that there was a small chance ONLY when she got asked about it. She couldn’t have lied to the parents did she? She just said the truth and if the mother developed smth from that point it’s not Dr. Manning’s fault

  • @pleapedrigoz5668

My baby was born at 26 weeks 577 gram and 29 cm he was so tiny but was a fighter we fought at the nicu for 6 months until we got to go home cause he was so lung sick he still needs support with the breathing but he’s doing great and growing. It was tough being an single mother besides a teen mom with a newborn who’s barely alive but we did it we fought and here we are he’s 5 kilo and 55 cm. So to you who say they are basically not alive and better of dead no my son and all premature babies proves you guys wrong. Sharing all love to mothers in general but to mothers who had a rough start no matter reason.

I get that a baby that small is very likely to die, but I think, especially given the mother's reaction to seeing him, that the parents needed to feel like they did all they could to save their child. And as for Manning "encouraging" them, she told the truth, there was a small chance, it was unlikely, but it was there. She wanted the baby to survive and was doing everything in her power to make it happen, I don't think it was wrong of her to do so.

Natalie is a mom so she shares the sentiments of her patient. Was she right? Was she wrong? Well that’s up to you. But for me she was right to fight for the child’s life, atleast when the parents look back at this horrible moment they know that atleast the doctors did their best to keep their baby alive. They wont look back with regrets. And mothers never give up on their children.
