I like how Chicago Med is more realistic with things, not with the medical information but they know to take the people to a private room to tell the family what’s happening.
It's not realistic though. No way would the doctors be able to tell the parents about the detective's work in the investigation. Also when Ally's mother came in Dr Manning would have asked her the questions that her stepdad couldn't answer
Normally they just give laughing gas, and thats only if the patient is anxious. Laughing gas makes people relax and feel very calm, and lots of people fall asleep while on it. It's the perfect cover story for the dentist. Give her laughing gas, and then give her the drug. Patient is knocked out. When she wakes up, tell her that she dozed off from the laughing gas. Patient doesn't know any better, parents and other dentists don't suspect anything. He thought it all though, sick bastard

Ok for everyone saying “imagine getting knocked out for braces” if you listen properly they’ll say the orthodontist has access to the sedative that’s why he became a suspect and then they said instead of using nitrous a gas used as standard by most dentists as pain relief and to keep them calm he used the sedative without authorisation.
Never say never .... drugs can easily be put into a "painkiller shot" ..... and while some people can handle medications there are others that cannot ... a small shot of morphine can have the same affect on a person as sedation, memory loss and passing out! Not trying to scare people, but truly know your facts! And make sure you do your research, in this day and age, with internet especially social media, no one can fart in the professional world without someone writing a complaint .... predators give off creep vibes to some, and they would most likely write all about it!
I love how the mother was calm and she immediately said that they can perform surgery to save her. Unlike other Karen’s who say “iT hAs tOo mUch bAd sTufF iN iT” well it wouldn’t if it saves your child. Anyways she was very calm.

Not really. When I first watched this I instantly thought dentist. Besides the subconcious psychology of her mentioning she's getting work on braces, and her eye movement, seems a bit more than a casual drug and touch from papa bear. But I understand everyone immediatley thought otherwise, though with the episode heavily implying it could be the step-dad themselves straight away, it's also a big hint that it isn't. -If you didn't think the foreshadowing of the girl's first instinct to say braces was anything important ofc.

Child , unless you are a wimpy chicken who is scared shit of the braces and wouldn't co operate with the procedure the dentist will have no need to use the knock out gas ... And he/she has to get consent sign from your parents. If he uses without consent sign he could be sued and his entire career would end . and the gas is not cheep or easy to get so its impacts would appear on bill ... Unless the dentist is generally into doing this weird shit.(you know , even dentist can be savage humans)
@룐나 ♡ Your the real dumby here, they’re or were children. You don’t have to be so harsh smh

Theses videos are addicting
this is really sad to think about because these are real situations in the world
I like how Chicago Med is more realistic with things, not with the medical information but they know to take the people to a private room to tell the family what’s happening.
It's not realistic though. No way would the doctors be able to tell the parents about the detective's work in the investigation. Also when Ally's mother came in Dr Manning would have asked her the questions that her stepdad couldn't answer
"get away from me!"
*mother continues to stroke her cheeks*
Omg I thought she said "wait for me "
I have no idea what show this is but I've been watching these 10 min clips for 2 hours
It's Chicago Med...you can watch the whole series on 123movies for free
The funniest thing is how in US they have to sedate patients to give fix teeth, like animals. Elsewhere not even local anestesia is necessary.
iveco555 yes. Everyone should feel pain for no reason.
Getting braces on doesn’t even hurt though.....when I got mine I got nothing
I don’t even think it’s that common in the US
@@nekonightmares9252 getting braces doesnt hurt at all
I have also gotten teeth removed and you only need local anesthesia in the gums, no need to be asleep for such simple procedures
I liked that her mom supported her even with the possibility that the criminal could be her husband.
I liked the step dad as well. He was genuinely worried for his daughter and angry on her behalf.
Loved how everyone handled this situation. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
“I just got by braces on last week”
They wouldn’t have added that sentence if it wasn’t the dentist
Don’t read the comments before watching the clip, there are many spoilers.

“OMG MAKE IT STOP!!!”
“We’re in a hospital, ma’am. If we’re not stopping something we’re starting something else...”
When the mom said “no you’re gonna choke her” for some reason it irritated me
Ok for everyone saying “imagine getting knocked out for braces” if you listen properly they’ll say the orthodontist has access to the sedative that’s why he became a suspect and then they said instead of using nitrous a gas used as standard by most dentists as pain relief and to keep them calm he used the sedative without authorisation.
‘Poor baby’ BROKE me 😭
Can never happen to me because we don’t use Anesthesia at dentists in my country
Really?
Ice Flower No only for like surgery or so you usually just get a shot for the pain

”i just got my braces”
her teeth are *litteraly perfect*
IK FOR A FACT. Everyone thought it was stepdad at the beginning. *I did too.*
F.B.I CAT I didn’t, why would she mention going to the dentist if it wasn’t important?
It was a thought but I didn’t actually THINK it was him because he seemed genuinely scared for her
i didnt because i looked at the comments at the start of the video and saw a comment saying i knew it was the dentist from the start! not the stepdad
Same, but then she said “I just got my braces” I was like “U STOOPID DENTIST” lol
actually grateful that I live in a small town. In a dentist room there’s always this random nurse on a computer and at my orthodontist there’s 3 beds so 3 different people are getting work done.
“Your going to chock her!”
SHE’S FREAKING DOCTOR!
I get why the mom doesn’t want to tell her daughter about something so traumatic but waiting to tell her can make it way worse when she does tell her
The actress that played the mother was very good. I could see her hand shaking as she cried after they mentioned sexual assault

UnderScoreKayla !!!!!!!!! Females can assault too
It's possible but it's way less likely that a woman will assault you than a man. So in that case female dentist > male dentist
She said "I just got my braces" out of nowhere and I knew right in that moment THE DENTIST
We do intravenous sedation in the dentists I nurse at for nervous patients, they’re fully aware and chatty but give it two hours and they won’t remembered anything that happened or meeting anyone🙈
She's a good mother she puts her daughter first and not her husband, even if he was innocent, in a situation like this a lot of women go into denial for the sake of their partners
This is so sad and terrible my dad is a dentist and he watched this video and it brought him to tears 😢😢
