A tip for anyone that wants to quickly find an Eevee in B2W2. Go to the Castelia Park with a Level 18 Pokemon in the lead. The Magnemite you caught to get through Roxie would be the best for the job. Pop a Repel. Go into the tall grass (NOT THE DARK ONE, THOUGH), pick a spot, and start turning around in place. It'll take a while, a minute or two at worst, but you'll eventually get an encounter, and that encounter will be a guaranteed Eevee. How it works? Repels don't work as well if your leading Pokemon is at or below the level of Pokemon, that can be caught in a given place. Eevee's the only Pokemon that can be caught at level 18 in Castelia Park, which also happens to be the highest level a Pokemon can be caught there. Turning around on the spot can trigger a random encounter, and won't waste your Repel steps. Happy hunting~
Also, when levelgrinding it, be careful. It could start to evolve into either Espeon or Umbreon depending on the time of day, in which case, just spam B until it stops evolving (that is, if you’re not using either of said Eeveelutions).

This means that even if it will be fully evolved by then, Ampharos can't do much against Skyla. Even with Galvantula's slightly inferior SpA stat, it can deal more damage to Skyla's team with Electro Ball. Ampharos does get slightly more viable against Marlon's team since it isn't weak to Carracosta's Rock type and can spam Charge Beam reliably, so I believe it's your choice. I love how he said that you can’t get starmie until the giant chasm when you can get it on route 13. Really shows how these ‘best teams’ are always the best teams.
I disagree with Coil since it already has a base 95 on both defenses but it's base 75 in both offenses would benefit more from using Growth. Especially if you're pairing it with a fire type or a pokemon who has sunny day then surperior gets a times two increase with growth and it gets a base 120 Solar Beam with no draw backs
At last galvantula got appreciation it deserves I tried it once I had to choose between tynamo and joltic I chose joltic even after its weak defence it was fun and I enjoyed using it
You can also teach Sigilyph signal beam for that dark type coverage but Flash cannon's a much better choice in terms of more coverage as it covers the rock and ice type weaknesses, good thinking MysticUmbreon😉
@@noahc6804 u cant even run there before burgh tho.. U gotta beat burgh if u wanna get sigilyph but for anyone who is stuck i suggest capturing darumaka on the route before relic castle
For Sigilyph, Joltik, and Scraggy, I highly recommend going for N's versions if you don't have anything against using unique pokemon. Also, additional possible coverage with Scrafty is Ice Punch, and Drain Punch with move tutors. Drain Punch is still a hefty hitter and gives Scrafty some incredible sustain after you can't use Eviolite on it anymore. Put your Leftovers on it and it NEVER goes down unless you get stuck against flying or fighting.
So basically, I looked into the moves and were able to get this: For Scrafty, you should get Brick Break. Even though, High Jump Kick is a great move, Work Up will buff up Brick Break’s attack. Galvantula was one I had trouble with. I thought either Bug Bite or Bug Buzz we’re great choices, but I went for Bug Buzz because the rest of Galvantula’s moves were special. Even though Bug Bite can eat the opponent’s berry, Bug Buzz won the “special” slot. Still use Bug Bite until Bug Buzz. I also chose Discharge over Thunderbolt and Electro Ball for reasons. Thunderbolt is a TM and it does less damage than Discharge, but you can still use Electro Ball until Discharge. Even though Electro Ball is great with Galvantula, there are some risks dealing with fast Pokémon.
You can teach Galvantula Signal Beam as soon as you get Joltik. Just go to the PWT and there will be a move tutor there teaching the move. Signal Beam is base 75 power, while bug bite is base 60. Signal Beam is better than Bug Bite.
I would give serperior leaf storm because leaf storm lowers user special attack by 2 stages but serperior has a hidden ability named contrary which means if if we use leaf storm instead of lower our special attack it raises our special attack by 2 stages
I believe that you can give Serperior Dragon Pulse and Aqua Tail in the late game. It doesn't cover a whole lot, but it's fun to have these weird moves on a Grass type. Also, I would give Scrafty Ice Punch and Bulldoze(Earthquake is post game) and give Sigilyph Ice Beam OR Energy Ball.
I prefer Energy Ball before Flash Cannon for Sigilyph. Energy Ball also provides coverage against Rock-types. Also, Twist Mountain is accessible only post-game.
Thanks! This video helped me a lot! In order to defeat Iris' Haxorus, I strongly agree to teach Serperior coil to increase it's defense for Haxorus physical attacks and outrage to finish Haxorus easily.
Well. My team was: -Archeops (Fly, AncientPower, Crunch, Outrage. Oh, did I mention his attack is 383? Pretty good.) -Serperior (SeedBomb, GigaDrain, AquaTail, Outrage) -Hydreigon (DarkPulse, Outrage, RockSlide, FireBlast) -Garchomp (Black Tower)(Earthquake, DragonRush, Outrage, BrickBreak)/ Flygon (Fly, Earthquake, FireBlast, Outrage) -Porygon-Z (Tri-Attack, ZapCannon, IceBeam, Psychic) -Lanturn (Surf, HydroPump, Thunderbolt, IceBeam) I know. Competitive wise, it sucks. Half + of it is weak to ice (but Garchomp has Brick Break, Archeops has AncientPower, Hydreigon has RockSlide/FireBlast, so it's pretty safe) But well, since I've playing it for 6 years now... They, and a bunch of others are level 100, so it's actually a very good team.
You can just keep Magnemite for the game. Magnezone is crazy strong, has a great move pool, and has the Steel typing, easily the best type in the game.
I'd prefer Riolu over Scrafty, Lucario gets a great movepool, typing and decent stats imo and you can find it as early as the first gym, it also learns dark pulse via heart scale also you can teach it shadow ball through tm too which should cover psychic type pokemon
Riolu has a terrible level up moveset. I tried using it once and it's only good move was force palm (or something like that) so it was a hindrance on the team until you get brick break
@@aeroga2383 I kinda get it evolved around the 3rd gym on average and Ig you can manipulate when riolu can evolve through friendship grinding... on the other hand I appreciate the immunity to psychic on scrafty which can be handy
I just realized something else about this team What about Burgh? By the time you face him you would could only have Servine, Drilbur, Eevee and Scraggy realistically (unless your really into grinding), and two of them are weak against his bug/grass types. Sigilyph can only be caught in the Desert Resort, and you can't even get there because crustle's block the way and can only be removed by Colress (heck in the first BW games you can't access the route in full either, but it's more due to a construction worker), but that only happens after you beat Burgh. I suppose you could keep magnemite around for it's defensive capability, or catch a growlithe or poison type in the virbank complex. just something you might want to keep in mind when you make your Samurott team since it has a similar problem, the Emboar team doesn't because of Pignite.
This couldn't have come at a better time! I was planning to play White 2 after I finish Platinum! (within the week) And some of these are Pokemon I've been wanting to use.
I think Unfezant is reeeeally underrated as a flier. Return + Silk Scarf makes it one shot lots of major enemeis, and its avaiability puts it leagues above the other flying type Pokemon
I'd use Bulk up instead of work up on Scrafty because his sp. Attack is useless anyway, might as well boost his defense if you want to boost his attack as well.
GOD DAMN dude my team was so similar it’s creepy... Emboar Azumirill Terrakion Jellicent Amonguss And my teams mascot that was there with an exp share but never fought Mantyke (yes you read that right) I didn’t know where a remiraid was so I left it like that... As you can see I had a lot of fun with my team and didn’t care about type advantages but I did use a leavanny and flagon during the post game
For people who want an attacker serperior or more type coverage on serperior (like me) here is a moveset I used in black 2 Aerial Ace Leaf blade Aqua tail Return Ignore the 70 base special attack
It feels like the word forget should be in past tense form considering the ideal of verb tense consistency in English writing. "Didn't" in almost every case, doesn't have to be in a consistent tense with another verb. The verb is in present tense despite "did" being a past tense version of "do".
My Black 2 team as Rosa: Serperior - all thanks to the animated trailer where Rosa uses a Serperior, so I've started with Snivy because I've already used an Emboar in White 2. It's moves Leaf Blade, Coil, Giga Drain/Frenzy Plant and Dragon Pulse. Arcanine - First time to use an Arcanine because way back in my Fire Red adventure, I've started with Charizard so I didn't use it. This time, I'm gonna use it because of its bulkiness and all-around stats. It's movesets are Flamethrower, Bite/Crunch, Thunder Fang/Wild Charge and Outrage. Outrage can be learned as a Growlithe at level 43 so I gave it an Eviolite to make it bulky because I'm finding the right time to evolve it because it loses the ability to learn more moves after using a Fire Stone so I didn't evolve it until level 43. Crobat - This Pokémon is the beast in terms of speed plus Acrobatics making it a hard-hitter against Fighting-types. A good Fly user. It's moves are Acrobatics, Fly, Cross Poison and X-Scissor. Krookodile - I've already used a Zoroark in my White 2 adventure so I need to use a different Dark-type Pokémon. It's Moxie ability makes it a hard hitter. It's moves are Bite/Crunch, Rock Tomb/Rock Slide/Stone Edge to send Flying-type Pokémon like Emolga to the ground, Aerial Ace to counter Fighting, Grass and Bug types and Bulldoze/Earthquake. Sadly, I've replaced it with a Hydreigon in the post game due to major Ice-type weakness. Floatzel - a fast Water-type Pokémon with a good all around stats. It's moves are Ice Punch, Waterfall, Surf and Brick Break to smash down Ice-type Pokémon. Mienshao - I've already used a Lucario in my White 2 adventure and I don't wanna use a Scrafty because it is very slow so I'll use a different Fighting-type Pokémon this time. It's moves are Jump Kick/High Jump Kick, Strength, Acrobatics and Drain Punch. Jump Kick and High Jump Kick are powerful Fighting-type moves and the latter is stronger than Close Combat which helped me kick Ghetsis's Hydreigon right in the face. Drain Punch to heal itself in case of crash damage due to missing. Acrobatics to KO fellow Fighting-types and a good Strength user.
Minor mistake, but when you talked about Magnemite as a temporary member you said it would still have to deal with Roxie's Dark type moves, this is wrong, Steel resist Dark in gen 5 it was gen 6 where it lost that resistance
Steel type still resists Dark in Gen 5, so there's no problem at all with Magnemite. Staryu and Starmie can be caught on Route 13, Undella Town, and Humilau City, but cannot be caught at Giant Chasm. Flash Cannon is unavailable as a TM until you beat the Elite 4. Crobat is also available, but I'm unsure if Sigilyph is actually better or not. Thunder is available in Lacunosa and makes great use of Galvantula's Compound Eyes ability, giving it ~90 accuracy.
yo mystic, serperior can get aqua tail and iron tail from the shard move tutors. shards are damn easy to collect with the item finder/dowsing machine. a water type attack on the grass starter is amazing.plus coil fixes the accuracy problems . i speak from experience, serperior SWEEPS :)
But to have both moves, you need to sacrifice Giga Drain (which is a pretty good recovery move) AND go shard-hunting, which takes some time. Aqua Tail can cover for Fire-types while Iron Tail does better against Ice-types, although I'd say Aqua Tail is more useful.

A tip for anyone that wants to quickly find an Eevee in B2W2.
Go to the Castelia Park with a Level 18 Pokemon in the lead. The Magnemite you caught to get through Roxie would be the best for the job.

Mystic Umbreon: "Iris's team except for Iris"
best quote of 2019
Oh my gosh! I LOVE Galvantula! It was the first pokemon I ever raised to level 109!
*100
I love how he said that you can’t get starmie until the giant chasm when you can get it on route 13. Really shows how these ‘best teams’ are always the best teams.
I disagree with Coil since it already has a base 95 on both defenses but it's base 75 in both offenses would benefit more from using Growth. Especially if you're pairing it with a fire type or a pokemon who has sunny day then surperior gets a times two increase with growth and it gets a base 120 Solar Beam with no draw backs
I've been wait for this!
Awesome, Galvantula is my favourite pokemon! Love running Thunder on it with Compound Eyes (+Sticky Web, Bug Buzz and Energy Ball)
You can get a static Eevee in castalia city with it’s hidden ability and you can get stones from dust clouds
That’s post game
Rodney Carlin know I’m late, but post game...
Peng Gao okay thanks man it’s alright
Creatorsnow thanks for letting me know
Thunder with compound eyes for Galvantula
At last galvantula got appreciation it deserves
I tried it once I had to choose between tynamo and joltic
I chose joltic even after its weak defence it was fun and I enjoyed using it
Eelektross it's a beast in B/W. But I don't know if choose it again.
Sorry for my bad english :/
@@AnkaraAnkaraMessiMessiMessi I have tried it it evolves pretty late in game ya it's good but galvantula was more fun
I like zebstrika more but I still like galvantula.
*“I said it was fun, not good”* I was weak when he said that.
To catch Eevee easy have a level 18 Pokemon and use a repel and run around in regular grass
"Excadrill is super-awesome"
Gliscor: Am I a joke to you?
Daniel Yeah, I know. I’m trading one over from Black 1.
Edit: Scratch that, I just caught one on Route 11.
The other 2 are good, but this one is just Serperior
👏👏👏
😆😆.......😑
This is a cool comment.
Mystic serperior must learn Frenzy Plant...
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I’ve waited for this soooo long
I love adding Galvantula. I believe it would also do great against the Hydreigons (both Ghetsis and Iris):-)
3:00
Serperior must learn Frenzy Plant (150 power).....
At driftveil world tournament which can be learned pre-game...
The recharge is really annoying
You can also teach Sigilyph signal beam for that dark type coverage but Flash cannon's a much better choice in terms of more coverage as it covers the rock and ice type weaknesses, good thinking MysticUmbreon😉
The TM for Flash Cannon, It's late game.
What a timing. Just started my playthrough with serperior in Black 2. Thanks for these awesome Vids!
Greetings from Germany :D
Sigilyph is good against Burgh... well now what? It's not obtainable until you defeat him
XTC99 Its good against Marshall
you can run ahead to the desert before you fight burgh
@@noahc6804 the road is blocked tho
That’s where I used Growlithe.
@@noahc6804 u cant even run there before burgh tho.. U gotta beat burgh if u wanna get sigilyph but for anyone who is stuck i suggest capturing darumaka on the route before relic castle
Nobody is talking about how he called serperior superior for the whole video because it's his favourite
why not thunder with compound eyes for galvantula ?
Samuel Sabo that’s what I was gonna say
Idk all you have to do is find pp max and have a couple eithers
You dont need pp max, 10 pp isnt bad
TitaniumStar I thought thunder was 5 pp
IF ITS NOT 100% ACCURATE ITS 50% ACCURATE
Snakes don’t hiss, they choose the other starters
For Sigilyph, Joltik, and Scraggy, I highly recommend going for N's versions if you don't have anything against using unique pokemon. Also, additional possible coverage with Scrafty is Ice Punch, and Drain Punch with move tutors. Drain Punch is still a hefty hitter and gives Scrafty some incredible sustain after you can't use Eviolite on it anymore. Put your Leftovers on it and it NEVER goes down unless you get stuck against flying or fighting.
So basically, I looked into the moves and were able to get this:
For Scrafty, you should get Brick Break.
Plus, Galvantula can learn Discharge via level up
You can teach Galvantula Signal Beam as soon as you get Joltik. Just go to the PWT and there will be a move tutor there teaching the move. Signal Beam is base 75 power, while bug bite is base 60. Signal Beam is better than Bug Bite.
My team
Sammorott:Surf,Blizzard,Megahorn,Aqua Jet
Arcanine:Flare Blitz,Outrage,Crunch,Work Up
Magnezone:Thunderbolt,Flash Cannon,Tri Attack,Thunder Wave
Roserade:Energy Ball,Sludge Bomb,Shadow Ball,Synthesis
Flygon:Earthquake,Dragon claw,Rock Slide,U turn
Crobat:Cross Poison,Fly,X sicissor,Acrobatics,
My first Black 2 Team:
Serperior - Giga Drain, Dragon Pulse, Frenzy Plant, Aerial Ace
Lucario - Aura Sphere, Psychic, Ice Punch, Earthquake
Magnezone - Thunderbolt, Flash Cannon, Signal Beam, Thunder Wave
Flygon - Dragon Claw, Earthquake, Rock Slide, Fire Punch
Chandelure - Flamethrower, Energy Ball, Confuse Ray, Shadow Ball
Starmie - Surf, Psychic, Minimize, Ice Beam
One of my favorite Pokémon teams ever.
I was thinking of this earlier. Now, it came true
I would give serperior leaf storm because leaf storm lowers user special attack by 2 stages but serperior has a hidden ability named contrary which means if if we use leaf storm instead of lower our special attack it raises our special attack by 2 stages
You can't get hidden ability serperior for a play though
@@minothemandarin5167 yeah i agree with you
I believe that you can give Serperior Dragon Pulse and Aqua Tail in the late game. It doesn't cover a whole lot, but it's fun to have these weird moves on a Grass type. Also, I would give Scrafty Ice Punch and Bulldoze(Earthquake is post game) and give Sigilyph Ice Beam OR Energy Ball.
This man knows what he’s talking about!!!
I prefer Energy Ball before Flash Cannon for Sigilyph. Energy Ball also provides coverage against Rock-types. Also, Twist Mountain is accessible only post-game.
Wow what i needed thanks Mystic
Just finished Black 2 and I freakin love my team:
Samurott
Haxorus
Lucario
Arcanine
Leavanny
Jolteon
Samurrot
Lucario
Darmaniton
Archeops
Galvantula
Roserade
Serpereor
Starmie
Lucario
Metagross
Dragonite
Cobalion
Samurott
Lucario
Arcanine
Magnetzone
Flygon
Zoroak
Samurott (Zyguard)
Electivire (Spark)
Flygon (Pilot)
Zoroark
Volcarona (Flame)
Mienshao (Scarf)
Thanks! This video helped me a lot!
In order to defeat Iris' Haxorus, I strongly agree to teach Serperior coil to increase it's defense for Haxorus physical attacks and outrage to finish Haxorus easily.
Well.
My team was:
-Archeops (Fly, AncientPower, Crunch, Outrage. Oh, did I mention his attack is 383? Pretty good.)
-Serperior (SeedBomb, GigaDrain, AquaTail, Outrage)
-Hydreigon (DarkPulse, Outrage, RockSlide, FireBlast)
-Garchomp (Black Tower)(Earthquake, DragonRush, Outrage, BrickBreak)/ Flygon (Fly, Earthquake, FireBlast, Outrage)
-Porygon-Z (Tri-Attack, ZapCannon, IceBeam, Psychic)
-Lanturn (Surf, HydroPump, Thunderbolt, IceBeam)
I know.
My team
Serperior
Chandelure
Garchomp
Zoroark
Mienshao
Mamoswine
You can just keep Magnemite for the game. Magnezone is crazy strong, has a great move pool, and has the Steel typing, easily the best type in the game.
Galvantula has ability compound eyes, wich increases acurity 1,33, so you can use thunder
I litterally found my old pokemon white 2 game and just started a new game. I really wanted to pick a snivy thank u so much 😄
Is it just me, or is Serperior’s shiny SUPER MAJESTIC 😍😍😍😍
Spartan Sid it IS! Omg I FINALLY found someone who AGREES!
I agree, too, even though I’m not usually one of those people who goes to all the trouble of softresetting for a Shiny.
I personally would replace Serperiors Giga Drain with Leech Seed.
Serperior is the closest pokemon to venusaur with its leech seed and venusaur is my fav pokemon. I agree
@@Tez365 I didn't notice this was 3 years old 💀 Oops. Yeah you could get it to have high stats early which I guess helps offset its moves
I saw Serperiors speed stat and immediately knew what I had to do
Why
I just realized something else about this team
What about Burgh?
There's darumaka for that
Thank you!! Been stressed out trying to find out a team for this game
Aqua tail should be a good move for Serperior. Also Bulk Up would be better on Scrafty than Work Up. Just suggesting🙄
Ikr?!
Mega Drain isn't that useful
SERIOUSLY FRENZY PLANT....!!
Eh, Ice Punch works really well on Scrafty
work up on a physical attacker....WHY?
So happy Scrafty and Galvanrula made it. Two of my favorite mons from gen5 and two I also used the fk out of.
This couldn't have come at a better time! I was planning to play White 2 after I finish Platinum! (within the week)
And some of these are Pokemon I've been wanting to use.
Nobody gives a fuck
I think Unfezant is reeeeally underrated as a flier.
Return + Silk Scarf makes it one shot lots of major enemeis, and its avaiability puts it leagues above the other flying type Pokemon
Roost
Fly
Return
Is pretty much everything you need
How can you use Galvantula, and not mention that it has 91% accurate Thunder available to it?
With compound eyes abilitiy
I'd use Bulk up instead of work up on Scrafty because his sp. Attack is useless anyway, might as well boost his defense if you want to boost his attack as well.
Yeah but you get work up super early. Bulk up is the obvious replacement
My team was
Emboar
Azumarill
Flygon
Zoroark
Leavanny

mine was

Excadrill
Chandelure
Scrafty

Braviary
Thanks to add me on your list
GOD DAMN dude my team was so similar it’s creepy...
Emboar
Azumirill
Terrakion
Jellicent
Amonguss
And my teams mascot that was there with an exp share but never fought Mantyke (yes you read that right) I didn’t know where a remiraid was so I left it like that...
As you can see I had a lot of fun with my team and didn’t care about type advantages but I did use a leavanny and flagon during the post game
Mine was
Emboar
Electivire
Ferrothrorn
Claydol
Jellicent
Haxorus
Mine was:
Serperior
Arcanine
Flygon
Scrafty
Espeon
Walrein
For people who want an attacker serperior or more type coverage on serperior (like me) here is a moveset I used in black 2
Aerial Ace
Leaf blade
Aqua tail
Return
Ignore the 70 base special attack
Mystic, didn't you forgot the 2 in the Thumbnail? (I'm German, I hope my English is good.)
elite13 no it’s “didn’t you forget”
It feels like the word forget should be in past tense form considering the ideal of verb tense consistency in English writing. "Didn't" in almost every case, doesn't have to be in a consistent tense with another verb. The verb is in present tense despite "did" being a past tense version of "do".
Hallo
*didst thou not forgetten't
My Black 2 team as Rosa:
Serperior - all thanks to the animated trailer where Rosa uses a Serperior, so I've started with Snivy because I've already used an Emboar in White 2.
Always loved Hugh's mixed attacking serperior
Me too
i always get myself a haxorus asap in these games and even volcarona. it helps having a dragon and a decent fire type
Omg wasn't I waiting for this
I started the playthrough this week, and have just defeat Elesa, in this moment i have Serperior, Crobat, Lucario, Ampharos.
I have been waiting for so long. Btw you said Iris' Iris when going through vapoeons battles. I'm assuming that you are talking about the lapras
Actually, he was joking when he said “Iris’s team except for Iris”.
I think for Serperior it is more helpful to have Leech Seed than Giga drain (especially if you’re Nuzlocking).
Giga drain does more damage and recovers more health
Matthew Chandra or you could drop the flying coverage because it doesn’t cover any of its weaknesses except bug in favor of aqua tail.
What about for a golduck change for vaporeon
And lucario for scrafty
And magmar for excadrill
They are handy
