what is this Google people are on about? I vaguely remember using the search engine, but then again, I vaguely recall Windows (what are they now at 12? 13?)
You know what's funny.It's so easy for them to take it away.But it's so hard for them to give it back.I don't understand just remove the classifiers or tone them down.
I wonder, if Jared has real data from GSC, could the problem be in Ahrefs. Actually right before this drop started, they were down for maintenance for a day. Could it be they messed up something with their measurement system?
How do you suppose to compete if its so dependent on backlins? Isn't creating a site hard enough. You dont need a dev to create a youtube channel, but on top of thet you need to invest like 5 10k in backlinks just to have a chance
Just follow the money: money traffic, so sending 100s of millions of searchers to Reddit and similar sites means less money for bloggers, but more for Google in some way... what way, well, they know that very well...

Retro Dodo has since posted GSC data showing some drops. So, there’s that.
