I've a head canon that Salazar Slytherin wasn't against muggle born at Hogwarts, not at first. I imagine something happened, Salazar began pushing the other founders not to accept all comers and screen all applicants. I believe that he turned only after something truly horrific happened. Something that had to be hushed up it was so bad. Salazar Slytherin was pushed over the edge and swore death to all muggle born.
Hogwarts treats Slytherin students like evil little assholes the whole time they're there and then are shocked when they turn to dark side as adults. Their damn dormitories if I'm not mistaken are in a dungeon.
Nothing in the world is 100% pure or evil. But when they say Slitherins are evil, they mean most evil witches are from this house. They don't mean they are all bad! Love your take on Harry potter books and the wizarding world
I have a problem with a huge plot hole in the harry potter series. In the first movie Qurial had he who shant be named riding around on the back of his head, yes? in the match between slytherin and harry, Qurial trys to kill harry. He fails due to herminie setting snapes robe on fire right? at the end when harry gets pass all the test he fines Qurial not snape looking for the stone. Qurial then recants the match in question and says he knew snape was trying to save harry with a counter curse. This is where my issue comes. Voltermer in there during the match we can assume and is very much there during the stone scene. Why did he not suspect snape was working for the order? he wittnessed snape trying to save the boy that "KILLED" him. he knew snape was guilty of helping harry. Big plot hole i think
I completely agree i wish slytherin had a more nuanced portrayal and this is coming from a gryffindor. I think it would have been more interesting and that's why I hope we get a prequel series some day!
Omg I just realized something, Lita lestrange probably put a sacrificial protection on both of newt and Theseus at that moment to do that or everybody else's well that was fighting Grindelwald. By doing that she willingly sacrificed herself.
I can see an argument against Slytherin is that if they don't do anything with these mugglebowns then they'll expose them anyway to the magical world all the other muggles by their own abilities that they can't control so they'll still be in a danger either way.
No one is all bad. We all have a inborn desire to survire. But in the game Slyazar sacrifice his own parselmouths. because only they could open the first door to find his hidden office. But die at the last trapped door.
Ok wizards do whatever the hell they want to muggles because they can do magic and muggles can't so wizards take as much advantage of that as possible because no one can do anything to stop them.
Wizards give themselves the right to live in the muggle world so muggles should have a right to live in the magical world or at least be allowed in not just to bring their kids to get their school stuff but just period.
Voldemort and his death eaters destroyed Hogwarts at one point and there was a whole bunch of them and they were adults not kids and they did pose a real threat to the school, the wizarding and the muggle world, and they have it coming wizards do.

Wonderful discussed. So true. 😊

As a proud Slytherin i approve this message.
Interesting to learn more about Slytherin.
Snakes are one of my favourites

Could you do a video on first Werewolves or known other than 2 we know
Very true.
That's good that snakes also have some positive on their side
There is also the brass serpent on a pole referenced in the old testament as well.

Well, they couldn't have gone farther away from this principle than visiting every Prime Minister when elected.🤔
Yeah there are mitigating circumstances but Salazar Slytherin created a basilisk that is dark magic right there

I’m doing my argumentative essay in English class on whether Snape was good or evil.

It’s like something we should go in the states . Not just let everyone in to this country

I really wonder what he would think now
