8:44 I believe that BO2 has dismemberment ,at least on the XBOX 360 version I used to play, though it seems to be not only less frequent but also less intense than BO1. Maybe in the PC version, it was not set to default in the option menu, or you were just not lucky enough(or maybe it was bugged)
A outstanding profile on a great "COD" series I love, great game-play & cut scenes captured to accompany your concise commentary! My only gripe with the 2nd one is the damn Strike missions I never truly got a handle on.
I finished this game last week, great coincidence to get this review. Great content, as always! Totally agree with your points. I like the old settings more than the futuristic bit of the story - and there are more futuristic missions than classic ones. Regardless, this game was great!
Its strange you don't showcase the multiplayer mods for the Call of Duty's even though you do it with many other games, probably the only unique part of your reviews
My favorite Call of Duty game, if not the best of the franchise. The campaign is great and you actually care about it and multiplayer is just pure fun and has offline bots. The devs actually wanted to do something better and I say they did it well.
@@ForLegalReasonsThisIsAJoke1 it's just to show how scummy Activision is. Still full retail prices, still full dlc prices. Game still suffers from release date bugs... Greed at its finest
I loved the Strike Force missions (and wish I could played that Strike Team Mobile game based entirely aroudn them.), I do agree they were flawed but I really wish the concept was expanded instead of discarded.
Great video. I was a huge fan of the original Black Ops campaign and was hyped to see how they followed it up. I was initially disappointed by how much BO 2 felt like Modern Warfare series (Cinematic action blockbusters) rather than the psychological mindf*ck that the original game was. But over the years i've learned to enjoy it for what it is. Its a fun futuristic action game that does a good job adding to Mason and Woods story. I liked the idea of the strike missions but i felt they weren't as fully realized as they could have been. Almost felt like a last minute addition to add some slight re-playability to the campaign. The multiplayer for Black Ops 2 has always been fantastic. Its only gotten better over time since more recent CoD games have felt less innovative (and unpolished) in comparison.
I agree that Black Ops 2 was easier. I'm not someone who generally enjoys playing these campaigns on Veteran difficulty, and believe me I tried to do it with World at War and rage quit partway through, but I was able to beat BO2 on veteran, without much frustration.
Terrible game. Ugly graphics for the time and shooting felt terrible. Artstyle was horrible. Bad maps, everyone ran around with smgs, throwing stun sticks. The only good thing was the zombie mode.
its when zombies started to get bad imo, too much focus on the easter eggs you have to look up some guide for, appose to wave defence 4 player. mob of the dead was good doe
Many would say the last true golden age of COD

The dismemberment effect is only available on the 80s campaign

I think you could actually dismember enemy, even in futuristic part of the campaign.

@@twbloodstar1050 Wtf? I don't remember the body parts getting blown off in the future campaign on Xbox 360,
Maybe i need to replay it again

Last time i actually were interested in a new cod lol

Good old days of playing this game on xbox the story was amazing and the multiplayer was fun
Bo3 zombies still to this day is the most popular version of the zombies mode since the steam workshop always adds fanmade maps to this day

There's actually dismemberment, but it was only on the 80s campaign
Ah yes, still 60€ on steam 😂😂
Just pirate it

Most people are on the Plutonium servers for multiplayer and I think Zombies. Never really looked into them, but most are there.
there is a free client to download where everybody plays online, it's where i play online multiplayer and zombies
In terms of zombies and MP Plutonium is the best way to play them.

Ah yes, the final COD golden age COD game.
best soundtrack in the whole series

Wonderin if you gon review em all or you stoppin at this one or what?! 😃
Up to and including Infinite Warfare.
@@Gamingpastime64 good stuff! A year later or more (whenever you feel like it) peep cold war cause raven software did a faithful one to black ops
To me black ops 2 multiplayer was the best thing, story mode was boring & all cods after that storymode was trash until MW 2019 came back.
They're faces look weird
BOII is my runner-up campaign between MW1 and MW2.
I wish you'd talked more about Zombies. Transit and Nuketown are some of the best Zombie maps imo

Sacrilege. Literally the greatest CoD ever made.
No it's not. It's one of the best CoDs that's ever come out.
Vanguard is probably your favourite game
