Like we know about the aether storyline but when Nikolai mentioned that everything was going to the dark aether it makes me think that it's going to another story with another more characters or with the victis crew or primis who knows for all we know they played us and made us think it was the end because I think that they have something hidden but that's something I wish to happened but IDK I guess not

You know, I always thought Call of the dead was just George's greatest movie, putting himself into the cast as a powerful zombie. Since they were using false weapons before, and then they suddenly became live ammo and real blades.
One day we’re having the time of our lives in a German Theater, the next we’re crying at the final chapters for the characters we’ve grown to love over the past 10+ years. I may not have played Zombies back in the day, but I’ve certainly known about it for a while and still feel like it was a part of my youth. It wasn’t until I was 12 when I finally learned about who Dempsey, Nikolai, Richthofen, and Takeo were, and I was obsessed with these 4 characters. Now I’m 15 and have been playing a lot of Black Ops Zombies with a long-time friend of mine and we are having a blast. It’s definitely fun to experience what it was like back in the early 2010s, and I hope that future generations could experience exactly what those before them have felt back in the prime of gaming.

Dimension 2210 was the actual moment when he sacrifices a alternative version, a young version because the others were 'innocent' versions from before the outbreak, but Richthophen was innocent during his younger years... So Primis had to kill his child self
Honestly I interpreted it the opposite. By holding onto those thoughts in death they ascended past the dark Aether and were put into the normal world like Eddy and Sam, but in place of what their wish was. No memory of the events. Nothing. It’s stated by several people in the lore that’s what the Agarthan Device does; grants your deepest desires.

Okay, 40:02 and the whole ending of the story made me cry. Their efforts were not worthless, but in the end everything still got destroyed. This story was also confusing, yet it made sense in the end. The funny thing was that Nikolai didn’t play a huge huge role throughout the story, and at the end he played probably the biggest one. And he knew the truth about it all. 59:24 “We fought for what we wanted. We got more than we deserved. All the chapters of our lives, good and bad. Even if there was no witness, even if no one could have seen, it still happened, somewhere. We were always doomed to fail. Monty told us the truth. Our journey is the very reason this madness exists! We are the ones who fractured the universe.”
Damn the only way for to end was for them to die and richtofen put them thru the cycle so many times because he couldn’t take the truth damn shit hits but what was the richtofen that got left in BOTD was all about ?

A new timeline started at origins and that was the end of bo3 then they found out about Monty and he helped them to set things right so they started killing the older selves cause they were corrupted then they kept blood goals which wasn’t supposed to be in the younger versions timelines so Monty sent them back in time but then they carried on from their fixing all of their mistakes till they were the only mistake left

As a 27 year old lad now, watching this brought back some of the best gaming memories me and the boys have had, I guess it’s time to pass the torch now, shout out to this though, zombies gave us all some great times, my only wish would be that they made the whole storyline into a stand alone game

Nikolai understood that everything that has happened to them and the others that got involved was all because of them. He finally understood that the only way to end the madness was for all of them to finally die and that was something Richtofen couldn't do. But now, when they wake up they will have no memory of what they all did and live their lifes. It's so sad that this is how it's suppose to end

I actually quite like how they ended the aether story, i like how they went with the sad emotional ending instead of the jolly usual ending movies get. The only thing I didn’t like was that it wasn’t animated.
I just wish they had let it be instead of continuing it in Cold War and making all of those deaths in vain. Primis and Ultimus dying was supposed to end the zombies, the aether, 115, group 935. And in a way it did, except it just got replaced with more zombies, the dark aether, aetherium, and Omega group.
@peanutbutter6720 I'm late to this comment, but that's the nature of time. All that stuff happened, and with or without the time loops. History has a funny way of repeating itself with new players/pieces. It was only a matter of time that someone would fiddle around with the aether again.

I never experienced the entire storyline (cause I’m bad at the game) so this was a first for me but the ending made me emotional. Especially Nikolai’s last words: “You were not just my allies, my brothers in arms. You were my friends.” That shit hurt

Okay, 40:02 and the whole ending of the story made me cry. Their efforts were not worthless, but in the end everything still got destroyed. This story was also confusing, yet it made sense in the end. The funny thing was that Nikolai didn’t play a huge huge role throughout the story, and at the end he played probably the biggest one. And he knew the truth about it all.

A new timeline started at origins and that was the end of bo3 then they found out about Monty and he helped them to set things right so they started killing the older selves cause they were corrupted then they kept blood goals which wasn’t supposed to be in the younger versions timelines so Monty sent them back in time but then they carried on from their fixing all of their mistakes till they were the only mistake left

He finally understood that the only way to end the madness was for all of them to finally die and that was something Richtofen couldn't do. I actually quite like how they ended the aether story, i like how they went with the sad emotional ending instead of the jolly usual ending movies get. The only thing I didn’t like was that it wasn’t animated.
I just wish they had let it be instead of continuing it in Cold War and making all of those deaths in vain. Primis and Ultimus dying was supposed to end the zombies, the aether, 115, group 935. And in a way it did, except it just got replaced with more zombies, the dark aether, aetherium, and Omega group.

Thank you for everything!! Probably one of the saddest endings and most beautiful ending to a story!! I’m glad to say I was here for it from the beginning til the end.. it was an honor fighting alongside all of you it was a tough battle but we made it!!
