We love you Paula ... Looking great ❤ I felt like I was there with you all at the markets...❤. Miss you all, wish I could pop over and have a cup of tea with you all. Such an awesome video thank you
I think you needed to have a shopping list. The prerequisites were, salad items, beetroot mentioned 'multiple times, and melon. I did not see you purchase any of those items😊😊. Instead, aubergines, cucumbers and chili. I enjoyed the market, everything looked healthy and well grown. $4-$5 here for 6 measly plants.
Oh he did get beetroot, they are a triple seed and one will usually get three in one plug, just as well your husband loves beetroot. Can you please tell us how to spell his name, I thought he was Niko but I think that is incorrect.
What a beautiful market. I think you must take your own small plastic bags with the seedlings names on it. There will be no confusion next time. What about lettuce, tomato and onion. I plant only cherry tomato's . There were so many. I give some to our friends and our two dogs, a Pittbull and Jack Russel go to the garden and help themselves with only ripe tomatoes. I cook six kilo's of tomato jam. For the first time in my life. I am very proud of myself because I am in a wheelchair. I've started also to bake the most fantastic carrot cake for a hospital near us. I stayed so 500 maybe 600metres from the beach in Strand, Western Cape, South Africa and it is the beginning of winter with lots of rain and wind. I also watch another YT channel Make do Grow. They are also renevating an old farm house and they grow also their own veggies. They make also the nicest liquire of oranges and lemons .i am not so sure about my spelling of those nextar😂. Granny South Africa
Thank you so much Mare. We bought lettuce and onions too but planted them elsewhere. I really enjoyed reading about your success with growing vegetables in South Africa and I really pictured your dogs eating the tomatoes. 🤣. You should be proud of yourself and I bet the hospital loves your carrot cake. Thank you for sharing ♥️
Love, love, love these markets, and l want to buy everything 😅😅, but l am already 72 years old, and its difficult to work so hard to keep them alive, during the hot Greek summer's. Good luck to your garden!!!
Hi friend in Greece. I agree with you. When you see the choice in the market it is very tempting but if we over buy, then goodness me it can be a lot of work 😀
Enjoyed your trip out, to your local market and picnic area. A good video all-around. We live in Carmarthenshire West Wales . Your garden all coming together, another 4 weeks and it will all grow a lot more.
Hi ! Thank you for a super video, I really enjoyed the market. Here in Denmark I would have to pay more than 3 Euro for 1 cucumber or for example 1 aubergine plant!!
I’m blown away by the prices of everything at the market. Gob smacked would be more accurate. Australian $ and Europes € are around the same at present, maybe slight cents difference. For example that €10 fruit tree would’ve been well over $30 here. And the seedlings here are around $5-$10 pending.
I agree with you about prices. We certainly couldn't get plants so cheap in the UK and I know things are more expensive in Australia. Our daughter lives there 😁
😂😂I was shouting at the screen you bought 8 Aubergine 😂😂 Lots of plants for your money there 😊 I have black fingers gardening wise I appear to be able to kill a plant merely by looking at it 🤦🤣 My son also has a condition called PICA (on top of wverything else) so we can't risk plants anyway heck we can't have anything that is easily put in his mouth and eaten because of it. To clarify PICA is a condition where they eat anything his particular favourite is sand, mud, glitter, batteries, stones and wires 🤦🤦🤦
😂 That's so funny. You made us laugh! Maybe I should investigate edible plants to improve memory 😀. Best wishes to you and your family and hope you/your son is managing his condition as best you can.
We have a totally different problem than you have. We have homeless that come into our community garden and steal our vegetables, fruits, apples and figs right off the trees. So we just planted lavender this year and buy our veggies and fruits at the grocery store.☹️No one goes hungry here! Plenty of food banks. They are mostly addicts and the mentally ill. Sorry to be a downer on your sweet garden, I’m just jealous.🤷🏻♀️
Hi! New subscriber from Madrid ,Spain! Beautiful house and gardens . Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing 🥰🥰🥰

The vendor was right about giving the copper beech extra water during the first year. That way it will develop a good, long taproot.
Thank you. Yes we've kept it well watered 😄

There are some great charities in the USA so hopefully they are helping them.
