At least they didn't leave the ending on a cliffhanger like most superhero shows. It was a fitting ending seeing Apocalypse be defeated and all the X-Men gathered in front of the mansion.

I get he wants to streamline things and make it easy to understand but I feel like it takes the uniqueness of the different characters away.

I like both ships, but for evo I gotta agree that Scott and Rogue have a fascinating dynamic (also because they're both teens, idk how old Gambit is in evo). But there was something one of the writers mentioned I think, where they said the fact that Rogue was standing next to Scott in the future line up of the last episode has some "Implications" if you will.

Easy topic, 90s Rogue is based on the comics. The Rogue from Evolution was supposed to be more of a realistic rogue, as was everyone else in this show. 90s Rogue and Gambit is if you want a comic book feel and this Rogue and Gambit is if you want a more realistic feel.

i have to say loved Gambit and Rogue in both evolution and the 90's cartoon. But i was so sad that we never got to see them get together in a actual X men film that would have would been wonderful as they were always my favorite characters.
In spite of the age difference, that was a very nice & subtle build up of their relationship. When she finally becomes of age _it'll be no wonder they hit it off._ 💕

What kinda pisses me off about cartoons and comics is how the protagonists ways win against vastly more powerful opponents. Like apocalypse, juggernaut, magneto, should've wrecked the x men numerous times. Apocalypse should've defeated them period. But they always dumb down the enemies of put some hail Mary plot absurdity to make the protagonists win
I am a little happy that in this evolution series they actually showed rogue's powers which was she was able to absorb power and memories just by touch more than her absorbing ms Marvel's powers by accident and under mystique's influence and i dont think they dragged or overexagerated both of their dynamics(rogue and gambit) in any way✅🥺🥺🤗I like this interpretation,no doubt superhit was the xmen animated series because it was elaborate,but this is close to what I would think of them🤗🤗
This show is still my fav years later. It’s on disney+ and i wish we could have seen more of them together! I read comics and recently in one of them rogue and gambit finally got married. Now if only they can do that in the shows and movies. *sighs*

My fave will forever be the 90’s version, not just because I grew up w/ it but the accents are better and it’s more representative of the comics. However I like the chemistry between these two and wished they would of explored it more. It was a good show, different and I think they wanted to relate more to their targeted audience. Regardless of what show was my favorite I did enjoy both

Rouge and gambit are so perfect for each other they even have things in common because they both have mutation powers they were both adopted and both used for their powers so I don't get why rouge won't admit she's starting to have a crush on him I mean he calls her cherie and none of the other girls not even Wanda or Jean so why can't rouge just date him and let Scott go and realize gambit is her true love and special protector he should so be her boyfriend and an x men
I love Hugh Jackman and I love Wolverine, but the X-men movies seems to be all about him. That's why the only reason I watched X-men origin was to see Gambit...Romy is the best couple ever!!
I didn't like how most of the characters were portrayed in this series, especially Rogue. Gambit was decent on here, even if I question that French accent over his original Cajun one. And I also was a bit disappointed that Rogue and Gambit don't have much of a relationship in this series as the original, but I digress.
the tone of this show and with most of the characters being younger it changes the dynamic especially of Rogue and Gambit I don't see or feel the chemistry on evolution at all it felt like they tried to hint at what the 90s show did but it doesn't work here nearly as well.
I think the main problem is with Gambit. He is evil here. I loved that they were trying to be together but they couldn't. Gambit did something horrible in the past and he couldn't forgive himself. He tried to be good but he also wanted to be a thief. Rogue wanted to be loved and touched by also she wanted to be good. In Evo? We only see that they feel something but we don't know why.
Marcin Budziński that is part of the problem but for me its more then just that its a feeling a vibe that is missing.....also rogue doesn't feel like classic rogue because she isn't this is a totally different version of rogue imo just doesn't work with remy for this one her liking scott made more sense.....and in pretty much most of the comics with rogue and remy she is much closer to her 90s incarnation....gambit is a good guy mostly but is a grey character so him on both sides of the fence is part of what led to there breakups in the comics.

They were nice but after 2005 they are not together and i like this.:) Rogue from X men TAS is great. but in comics Rogue without Gambit has better stories for some reason:D Uncanny x men 170-247, X men Legacy or Uncanny Avengers are great and better than her adventures with him. I think that way because in comics they concentrated more on her evil past and her desire to be good. TAS was great That's the main reasons why i like this pairing.:D I liked this pairing in comics for some time but after reading all their stories i prefer them not together.
Marcin Budziński yeah at some point it did become redundant with them......I haven't read uncanny avengers yet I read all those xmen titles though may read some of the rogue specific UA comics to catch up with what she is doing now guess she isn't an xman currently which is disappointing but if the stories are good that is a plus.

I like X men evolution, but I am kinda disappointed by the lack of development in the Rogue/Gambit relationship since the 90s tv series. In X men Evolution, Rogue barely had a chance to meet Gambit. In Wolverine and the Xmen, they didnt even met. Although it was pretty obvious Gambit was going to slowly become an x man and quit his thief ways after meeting her. Perhaps in future Gambit films.....
It's because the writers in Evolution thought Cyclops and Rogue made a better pairing, but they were forced to put him with Jean and hint at Rogue and Gambit. They said that if they could do a Season 5 with Phoenix they were going to kill off Jean for good and have Cyclops end up with Rogue for the finale.

The theory is that, instead of getting her extra powers from Carol Danvers, Rogue would've gotten her powers from Jean during the Phoenix Saga.

I really wish Tony would give Rogue some gloves/gauntlets made from his "smart metal" that she can control social and combat situations. It just annoys the hell out of me watching her have to take them off or accidentally touch someone by mistake lol.

What kinda pisses me off about cartoons and comics is how the protagonists ways win against vastly more powerful opponents. Like apocalypse, juggernaut, magneto, should've wrecked the x men numerous times. Apocalypse should've defeated them period. But they always dumb down the enemies of put some hail Mary plot absurdity to make the protagonists win

I am a little happy that in this evolution series they actually showed rogue's powers which was she was able to absorb power and memories just by touch more than her absorbing ms Marvel's powers by accident and under mystique's influence and i dont think they dragged or overexagerated both of their dynamics(rogue and gambit) in any way✅🥺🥺🤗I like this interpretation,no doubt superhit was the xmen animated series because it was elaborate,but this is close to what I would think of them🤗🤗

This show is still my fav years later. It’s on disney+ and i wish we could have seen more of them together! I read comics and recently in one of them rogue and gambit finally got married. Now if only they can do that in the shows and movies. *sighs*
Admittedly, the writers in this show said that if they'd had 1 or 2 more seasons they would've ended it with Rogue and Cyclops being together.
@@ShadowSonic2 i saw that too but honestly they never had any type of relationship in the comics whereas jean and scott has a lot of history but scott also went out with Emma Frost too. We’ll never truly know since the show was cancelled but i’ll still like the show either way

My fave will forever be the 90’s version, not just because I grew up w/ it but the accents are better and it’s more representative of the comics. However I like the chemistry between these two and wished they would of explored it more. It was a good show, different and I think they wanted to relate more to their targeted audience. Regardless of what show was my favorite I did enjoy both

I love how HARD this show tried to be- all the while the trees are green and birds are singing on such beautiful sunny days in a manicured suburban setting in the background most scenes.

Rouge and gambit are so perfect for each other they even have things in common because they both have mutation powers they were both adopted and both used for their powers so I don't get why rouge won't admit she's starting to have a crush on him I mean he calls her cherie and none of the other girls not even Wanda or Jean so why can't rouge just date him and let Scott go and realize gambit is her true love and special protector he should so be her boyfriend and an x men

I didn't like how most of the characters were portrayed in this series, especially Rogue. Gambit was decent on here, even if I question that French accent over his original Cajun one. And I also was a bit disappointed that Rogue and Gambit don't have much of a relationship in this series as the original, but I digress.

the tone of this show and with most of the characters being younger it changes the dynamic especially of Rogue and Gambit I don't see or feel the chemistry on evolution at all it felt like they tried to hint at what the 90s show did but it doesn't work here nearly as well.
I think the main problem is with Gambit. He is evil here. I loved that they were trying to be together but they couldn't.
Gambit did something horrible in the past and he couldn't forgive himself. He tried to be good but he also wanted to be a thief. Rogue wanted to be loved and touched by also she wanted to be good.
In Evo? We only see that they feel something but we don't know why.

that is part of the problem but for me its more then just that its a feeling a vibe that is missing.....also rogue doesn't feel like classic rogue because she isn't this is a totally different version of rogue imo just doesn't work with remy for this one her liking scott made more sense.....and in pretty much most of the comics with rogue and remy she is much closer to her 90s incarnation....gambit is a good guy mostly but is a grey character so him on both sides of the fence is part of what led to there breakups in the comics.

Rogue from X men TAS is great. but in comics Rogue without Gambit has better stories for some reason:D Uncanny x men 170-247, X men Legacy or Uncanny Avengers are great and better than her adventures with him.
I think that way because in comics they concentrated more on her evil past and her desire to be good.
TAS was great That's the main reasons why i like this pairing.:D I liked this pairing in comics for some time but after reading all their stories i prefer them not together.

yeah at some point it did become redundant with them......I haven't read uncanny avengers yet I read all those xmen titles though may read some of the rogue specific UA comics to catch up with what she is doing now guess she isn't an xman currently which is disappointing but if the stories are good that is a plus.
First arc was ok but later it became really the best:)

I like X men evolution, but I am kinda disappointed by the lack of development in the Rogue/Gambit relationship since the 90s tv series.
In X men Evolution, Rogue barely had a chance to meet Gambit.
In Wolverine and the Xmen, they didnt even met. Although it was pretty obvious Gambit was going to slowly become an x man and quit his thief ways after meeting her.
Perhaps in future Gambit films.....
Because the rogue in X men and wolverine is a riff of the X men movies winny and scared ahahahah
It's because the writers in Evolution thought Cyclops and Rogue made a better pairing, but they were forced to put him with Jean and hint at Rogue and Gambit. They said that if they could do a Season 5 with Phoenix they were going to kill off Jean for good and have Cyclops end up with Rogue for the finale.
