Gambit is so cool, my MOM liked him in the original x-Men animated series. So, for her birthday in '99, I got her Gambit #1. The guy is GOOD!

You haven’t seen anything..he's born an Omega level mutant who has full control over kinetic energy even turn himself into a being made of kinetic energy..but that made him a threat to the planet itself..so he begged Sinister to nerf him (removed a brain tissue that allowed him to nuke biological matter)..the gambit you see in '97 is in nerfed state. There's a Gambit in alternate universe who fully embraced his powers called "New Sun"
Ever since i was a boy, i fell in love with his character. I had many figures and i always made him my MC (big deal as a kid) he's such a cool character i grew up with and loved how powerful he is. As i grew up i realized how complicated his character is and how he still has such a great personality, hes definitely a superhero who deserves more spotlight, but still loved by those who know him.
Wolverine (Logan, and X-23) is (are) my favorite(s), but Remi is right up there with them. As a kid I always liked how cool, and skilled he is along with his powers. Plus his romantic relationship with Rogue was always great to me.
I really love this X-Men 97, they got back into their roots. And, not giving in with modern superhero direction of putting in dumb jokes, relagating beloved characters into buffoons, this is true Marvel story-telling
Best comic panel of gambit is when he is fighting gladiator. When he tells gladiator to handle the whole deck.

Jim Lee is my favorite comic artist for both marvel and DC. His xmen are what most people think of when they think xmen and His batman and superman are superb as well.

Great history of Gambit Variant! I wonder how Gambit came across his staff? Was it something he always had even when he was in the Thieves Guild? Or did he come across some years later as he traveled the world?
i can't remember where I read it, but I swear I did somewhere but one of his strangest powers is how also has a special "pheromone" that's attributed to his charm. It supposedly helps him with getting on people's good side and getting what he wants. I could be misremembering, but I always thought it was a quirky power to include in his set.

Between Wolverine and Gambit, they were always my favorite X-men as well as my favorite comic book characters in general. I recently found out just how powerful Gambit really is, when he saw an alternate version of himself. That was pretty cool.

I hope you are following his Comics. The had a new solo comics in 2022 by Chris Claremont. And he is going to be in the new UNCANNY XMEN TEAM that is gonna be on sale pretty soon. THE BEST way to show love to our favorite characters is to buy their comic books if you can.
One of the best Marvel characters there is. My favorite with Deadpool for sure :) To my knowledge, which has not been touched upon in the video, Gambit can charge his brain with his power too which makes him resistant to psychic attacks as well as Rouges powers.

well done! My only criticism is that gambit cannot indefinitely keep charging objects. He could only charge them up to their kinetic potential. He uses playing cards because they’re easy to use and their kinetic potential has the explosiveness of a grenade.
He also has the ability to charm others to their whim as long as they don’t know about the ability
