Everyone is crying but Logan....he looks numb. He's been a soldier so he's had friends die & he's been alive since the 1800s so he's seen numerous loved ones die. He's heartbroken like the others but he is sadly used to the loss
To me, he's kinda like the X-Men's Iroh. He likes to have fun, wise and helpful when a member is having problems, but you don't want to mess with him because he's really badass.
It's part of who he is, and Kurt is easily the most openly religious member of the X-Men (this is likely a big reason why he was chosen to deliver Gambit's eulogy here). His faith is a huge part of who Kurt is as a character.

He's been dead now for how long? At least several days, so his body has started to decompose. No way can he be revived by Apocalypse who hasn't even been seen in the entire season apart from the intro. Sorry, but Gambit is gone for good. Same with Madelyne Prior who got vaporized by the blast. The only way Gambit could be revived is if the giant sentinel injected him with nanobots that would convert his body into a sentinel like it did with Trask, but I don't see that happening.

Upon watching this episode, it occurred to me that the clip they show in the trailer of a casket being lowered down wasn't a fake funeral for Xavier, it was for Gambit. 😢

Top tier writing for this show from episode one, from storyline to character development to dialogue, and even to eulogy. And so true to the comics. Next level stuff. Bravo, X-Men ‘97.
Cyclops, Beast, Wolverine, and Morph as Gambit's pallbearers. Remy had his clashes with Cyclops and Logan, very vocal or almost coming to blows. Yet, each of them respected Remy as a team member and as a fighter. In the big fight against Master Mold in the original run, Gambit refused to leave Wolverine behind after doors closed with Wolverine fighting a large number of Sentinels alone. When trouble back in the bayous of Louisiana caused Remy to return despite how much he didn't want to, Logan traveled with Rogue and Jean to help him. Wolverine may not have liked Gambit very much, but he had the Cajun's back like Remy had his. The wild cards are the most unpredictable. They are also the most devastating to any hand, including the player who holds them.
I wouldn't say Wolverine didn't like Gambit. I always saw them as having a realistic brotherly relationship. They bickered, trash talked and fought each other, but they had each other's backs, played basketball together and worked as a unit on the battlefield. Deep down, Wolverine respected him and saw him as family, best exemplified in his quote to the Cajuns when he, Jean and Rogue went to the bayou for him "Remy ain't a piece of meat to trade for nobody! Sometimes these claws slip... take us to Gambit and it won't!"

But we delt with them and made the best with what we had. And what Remy did, proved Professor X right. Mutant or human we have potential to heros and are not bounded bay a rotten past. And his relationship with Rogue was kinda problematic seeing how he’s in his mid 20s and Rogue is a teenager, probably the same age as Iceman. And not to mention that other X-Men members in the Ultimates Universe such as Wolverine, Cyclops, Nightcrawler, Beast, Dazzler, Angel, Emma Frost and Magneto are all dead thanks to Ultimatum, along with other heroes such as Wasp, Dare Devil, Ant Man and Dr Strange.

@@BestXmen97 At least Gambit doesn’t stay dead in this Dimension unlike the Ultimates Universe where he died fighting Juggernaut. And his relationship with Rogue was kinda problematic seeing how he’s in his mid 20s and Rogue is a teenager, probably the same age as Iceman. And not to mention that other X-Men members in the Ultimates Universe such as Wolverine, Cyclops, Nightcrawler, Beast, Dazzler, Angel, Emma Frost and Magneto are all dead thanks to Ultimatum, along with other heroes such as Wasp, Dare Devil, Ant Man and Dr Strange.
