Sorry its been awhile .but the problem with this stall,misfiring engine was the Egr vacumm solenoid. It failed because it was leaking and allowing the egr valve to open up and cause exhuast fumes to go into the intake manifold.
I replaced the battery on my 2001 Focus ZX3 and since that day the engine stalls at idle. It runs great but at a stop light or just any time it idles it stalls. What do you think?
My ford focus 2010 once in a will my car would stall when i hit the break or when i turn.but now it turns off when i put it in drive but not when i put it in reverse or thats what the mechanic says.
But the mechanic says it transmission but i know i did not have transmission problems.my freind a mechanic put a cumputer and gave no code.he said it was electrical.so this mechanic says it starts but as soon he put drvr it turns of but not in drive.i have a car that turned on and would not move that was transmission failure.so what do u think
He is very smart and Informative, but that information could have been told in a 2 minute video .. tooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo long.
Any help on code P2196? The car shuts off while driving but turns right back on when I park and crank it. Is this a fuel pump issue? Anything will help ty
@@eselc2072 dude I changed the spark plugs and head gasket! and its good as new, there was oil getting into the spark plug. let me know if you need help :)
I changed the battery, spark plugs, transmission oil, thermostat housing, air filter, basically I did a complete tune up. when I'm going to drop it off gear getting off the freeway it completely shuts off so maybe injector problem or fuel pump problem is one of those 2.

what is the cost for all the parts and labour?

Sounds like Torque Converter is failing. It's a part of the transmission.
So the egr valve was bad - save you all 10 minutes of bs

Battery or alternator check charging voltage at the battery with the vehicle running. Then load test Battery. One will have failed

@@gooddaytothrive5870 just used Lucas complete fuel cleaning system after I cleaned out the throttle, hasn't done it ever since.
