A perfectly straightforward vid about replacing the ISCV, IACV...but WHY? What was the complaint prior to replacing it? My 2.3 now has 180,000mi. on it...the idle is erratic to say the least...on start-up = TOO HIGH, then later on when warm = sometimes just fine, other times it is up/down/up/down... Thnx.
hey - thanks for the video. I was intrigued by you mentioning you have a 2.3 intake on the 2.0l engine... is that because you wanted to be different? :) what advantages does that give you? I have this same car, but a manual Transaxle. Owned it since new, but I've left it sitting for 6 years, and some of the pieces under the hood are... baked. Going to need to replace some of the parts, for sure. Anyway, appreciate any info you can give me about why you went with the 2.3 Lintake
How did you remove the plastic emissions hose that is in the way of the left bolt? I know it has a plastic tab that pulls outward but the hose will not easily release.
My 3ngine was revving really loud....my friend had just cleaned my mask air flow sensor....so I thought it was that. Check engine light came on.... all choices pointed to IAC valve
On a cold start; if it’s stuck closed. It will not start properly and you’ll have to assist by using some throttle. If it’s stuck open, the idle will be high on a cold start.
Also, when coming to a stop, your rpms must come down, but your iac will open up to help keep it idling while coming to stop. So if it stumbles or cuts out while coming to stop. That’s a sign as well.

Uso Famous no it did not it still has high idle all over the place issues going on 200,000 miles and still driving the car it's the work car to and from have another car that I use for weekends
Replaced every sensor my car start now shakes misfire stalls out loses power spark plugs coil packs map sensor crank sensor cam sensor still does the same thing fuel pump is good I'm lost and need help
Alternator is going bad or the crimp plug in too it. Could be bad corroded battery cables or the pcv hose needs to be replaced...they crack at the elbow..i.e. causing a vacuum leak.

A weakening alternator will do that on these cars.

Why does my 2006 focus Zx4 look so different than your (motor area). I don't see my iac where yours is. Any ideas? I do have the 2.0L

nope and I'm about ready to sell this car because of it can't figure out what's causing the issue nor can a shop

that fuckin part is 70 to 80 bucks now, jesus christ please let this be the fix though.

my Cain stalls an when you berry push the gas the idle goes really high also car shakes
