Hello Mariana , Chloe, and Joseph! It’s nice to see your wife and daughter back in the video. Love to see Chloe picking flowers. The view of the mountains from the property is very nice.
Hello Marianna and Chloe been a while since we have seen you two. Looking beautiful. Chloe has grown. Hi Joseph. Gina in Upstate New York USA moving to Portugal OH MY CONGRATULATIONS are in Order. Another little one...
Congratulations on having another little one 🎉🎉 I was born and raised in the UK, but looking at moving to Portugal in the near future, always house hunting on here. Enjoying your vids as always. 😉☺️
Happy Thanksgiving to your beautiful and inspirational family!!! You've helped us so much as we prepare to put into place our own European retirement dream. I think we've narrowed it down to Portugal, Spain, Italy (some amazing prices there on river property) and a couple interesting properties in France. If I'm to have it exactly as I'd like it'll probably be either Portugal or Spain. The more I follow your journey the more I lean toward Portugal and trying to get a D7 visa if still possible. Do you know anything about that? Anyway... Muito obrigado por tudo que você faz! :) We are Rocky and Kimberly 2 retiring world travelers in love with the lifestyle and attitudes of the Portuguese and Spanish people. We love France to having spents months in Paris and Brehe'mont a few years ago. Heck....at 65 I'm not kidding myself. I learned that the average age of a man in the states is 77! Seventy freaking seven! 12 years is all I'm supposed to get!? Well, we'll see about that. No way I'm not living the best life I can before my time comes to move on. Plus, I fell in love with Europe by spending months at a time there for several wonderful years. Then life happened and covid happened and a decade slipped by...we're coming soon that's for sure. Joseph, we're actually looking for a small farm in your neck of the woods preferably on or very near a river or stream. 😮 That dreamed, we'd still consider the right mountain side property with... * a few terraces some fruit and olive trees *a reliable water source and the option to add mains electric and water too * outside a village with the opportunity to use part of the property for a time share situation with some dear friends and family that want the same thing but aren't ready to move full time yet. *A relatively ready to live in situation that allows us to be safe and comfortable while we build our ir do any other renovations. *I'd also like to be close enough to the village or town to offer piano and music lessons to the kids or adults if the community for free in order to make new friends and become a community member. The idea of using music as a tool to integrate ourselves into the culture really speaks to me. Sorry to ramble. We're just really excited to be actively looking. We have plans to be in Europe in April for the International Living European Conference and use that trip to finalize whatever property(ies) we settle on. Do you think that's a good plan? Have a great day guys! Rocky
So lovely to see your beautiful ladies and oh my goodness is Chloe getting big. How far along is the lovely Mariana? I hope you get a mini Joseph this time around. Much love to you all. I look forward to your video every weekend. I hope your parents are keeping well and I miss seeing what's happening on your own farm. 😍😍
Do you know the size of the neighboring land? Do you know an approximate cost to install the septic system? Do you know an approximate cost to install mains power? This property will require a lot of sweat equity! I do like the creek. Thank you for showing the property! Your family looks very happy.😊
Joseph mentions in the video that he does not know who owns the adjoining property, and also tells us that mains sewerage runs right past the entrance of this property.
Congrats to you two. Would love to visit this area of portugal at some point. How are ruins always able to be rebuilt? Do they often have to be the same look or xan modern buildings be built?
Fantastic video. You are Good Talented and the best family member in the world. You're the best of all time. Wishing all the best for the your future of good talents.
Nice property, Joseph, it would be gorgeous once restored! And you’d have great leg muscles after walking up and down the land for a while 😊 Which village is this near to? I don’t think you mentioned the name in the video
you say the nearest neighbor is 200+ meters away? but the building is split so the neighbor is literally 0 cm away... Can't call her a baby anymore :D she's a big girl now walking on her own :D
@@Farmerforfun must be all the farm fresh food working like fertilizer on her :D do we know yet if she will have a little sister or little brother? :D the building connected to it + the land with it can that be bought too? guess it is a family inheritance between siblings or something like that?
Downside of many of the properties i see advertised in Portugal is the way land and buildings is carved up, resulting in boundaries that pose potential difficulties in future for buyers. I gather this is often the consequence of land and buildings being divided at upon family inheritance. But at least there is law to ensure the land is offered first to the neighbour when a sale takes place.

It will be delightful to "visit" their farm again once they have settled their new baby into the family!
