Black people tryna see if i can dance- i felt that part so bad, but when the same ua black want lighter skin mixed babies suddenly they dont care if we can dance or not
Because you say this doesn't make it to be true for all light skin blacks. Both of my parents are black, and I'm a lighter skin tone than all of my siblings. I get "what are you", very often from black people. It does hurt at times cause I know I'm a black woman, so I'm often confused. I grew up in Southern VA, and I got this often, too. Although I agree, there may often be privileges for lighter skinned blacks, please understand that all light skins dont play into this. Most privileges or "hype" I have experienced have been from the black community, which is so sad. Believe me, when I go to work, and a large majority are white people I work with, they know, and more importantly, I know that I am not them. No shade to them, I want them to know and understand this. More importantly, I want my black sisters and brothers to know that I am them but just with lighter skin!
Lightskin people are not the same as mixed if so then black people in General don't exist this what was wrong with these pro mixed channels yall love taking ls black people in putting mixed besides
They always see it as theyre punching up because they’ve already have placed us on a pedestal!!
