how difficult is this game, say...compared to elden ring or dark souls? it looks incredibly fascinating but i struggle a little with these terrible difficult, frustrating games :p
That’s why a lot of speedruns are actually fairly boring. They just don’t play the game. It’s weird to me that people enjoy breaking and not really playing the games that they claim to like.
the only way to speed run this game even with knowing the glitches is to play it for hours. no one speed runs this game without actually knowing playing through it normally first. it took me about a week to beat this game but i know i can speed run it in like 3-4 hours now without dying guaranteed. these guys are just way skilled lol
Even unlimited health mod and playing the game "normally" and still trying to dodge all enemy attacks is still as fun as playing Returnal with damage taken
@@IcyAuron this may come as a shock to you but people enjoy things in different ways. i am sure most people who speedrun returnal have played it at their own pace several times before and enjoyed it that way, but also derive enjoyment from beating it as quickly as possible. people don't speedrun games because it's the "optimal" way to play a game. they do it because it's a fun challenge, and breaking games down into a maze to find their way through as quickly as possible is exciting to them.
Thanks for having me! Glad the run went the way it did. Crowd, chat, and donators all were incredible
That was a really cool run. As someone who plays only the tower, its refreshing to see someone speeding through the storyline!
Really awesome speedrun there!
I love how tight the Returnal speedrunning community is. It's really sweet!
criminally overlooked game. I got it for PC when it released and damn if it isn’t one of the best I ever played
Another great run from Cave 👏
Dmj is just so fun so happy they never patched it.
what is dmj?

Amazing Run!
Great game and run 👍
What an amazing performance! Time to clear this game again I guess :)
Returnal is phenomenal, I've beat it 17 times, more people should play it
This run is quicker then I took in the first few rooms 😂
Part 2 starts at 38:26
29:16 "So this is one is both faster and a lot safer." HAH, put in that John Cena meme there, "Are you sure about that!" 🤣
DMJ changed my Returnal gameplay a lot when I found out about it.
gotta love movement players
Playing through over and over again trying to get the platinum trophy when there were a lot of bugs made me hate 'Dont fear the reaper'

16:14 ?
Sad to see the optimal way to play this game is run past everything

There's nothing fun about doing this
