Just wanted to say you did an exceptionally good job on the commentary for this. I knew nothing about this game, but I always understood exactly what was going on the whole time.
I loved playing this game in 2014 and I always thought it was absolutely beautiful, and some of things it did right it did REALLY right. So cool to see it beaten so quickly, amazing run and commentary!!
@@TheKyle666Nah, Thief was on a league of its own alongside the other PC gems of that time. Thief, Deus Ex, System Shock, Ultima Underworld, Arx Fatalis... Immersive sims really are something else. They were something you could only find on PC.
It's kinda hilarious that the game pays you so much for being stealthy, that you don't need to steal. Why doesn't anybody pay me for being stealthy? I would just stay at home.
It's hated in comparison to the other games in the series rather than other games in general people really liked some of the earlier games and we're disappointed when this wasn't up to the same expectations. Dishonored in the other hand was separate from any other series and people were surprised by how good it was. Context is everything even for games

This game reminds me of IGN dedicating an entire week to it when it came out. They had “Thief week” for some reason.
