The A5 Series has been made in Yamaha in Japan by their top luthiers, so you can have an electro-acoustic guitar that has been expertly created and will sound even better as the years go by. Plus, the guitar has plenty of special touches to its design that any guitarist can appreciate.
The new scalloped bracing of the Yamaha A-series increases low and mid-end projection, which gives you a fuller, richer sound.
Yamaha's Acoustic Resonance Enhancement (A.R.E) is a thing of legend that gives the Sitka Spruce Tops of the A-Series the appearance and tonal response of aged wood.
The preamp system on the AC5M has been streamlined with simplified controls, which features controls for a 2-band EQ (Treble/Bass), auto feedback reduction, two different mic type simulations, Piezo/SRT simulation blend control and volume. Other new features of Yamaha A-series also includes a new matte neck finish and an integrated battery box in the end-pin jack, which reduces acoustic sound loss and give the body-end better balance.

Best demo I’ve seen of this guitar. Well done
I own this guitar. It's amazing. Great review!
3:55 condenser
4:16 piezo
4:36 piezo +mic sim
4:56 mic sim 1
5:15 mic sim 2
Another enjoyable demo by Meg... Thanking 'Ye' muchly ! Great Guitar... Tones... Aesthetics... If I ever buy another Guitar (already own a 'Beauty' Yamaha)... then... This Model, 'AC5M' ARE is top of the list ! Absolutely !
You mention a few times it's premium quality from their made in Japan line but never once mention it's HAND made in Japan. Kind of a big deal vs the factory conveyor belt models
Hi, and thank you for these reviews! Can you tell me what are main differences between Yamahas :
A5M a.r.e A5R a.r.e and AC5M a.r.e AC5R a.r.e ?
I'm struggling which one to choose...thanks in advance.
As always, Megan, wonderful playing. Thanks for the vid. Just picked up a Yamaha APX600FM-AM to get me by while I dream of the Taylor I can't afford (yet).
Just got me an apx600 and I'm loving it right now! Seems to bat above it's price range with the quality!
@@pelster944 I'm always impressed with Yamaha acoustics.
Looking at AC3R..😁
Wonder why Yamaha decided to use this modeled pickup system and not their "Atmosfeel" pickup/mic system (used in the Red Label line) for this guitar? Are they moving away from Atmosfeel?
How does this compare to the Taylor 414ce?
i like the shape of the body
Good video-p
i didnt know Yamaha made guitars I knew them for drums and other stuff but the guitars are pretty cool from what ive now seen
Can vouch for the electrics. I have 3 and the Pacifica series are among the best bang for your buck out there
Their acoustics are some of the best bang-for-the-buck you can get.
Some of the best guitars in my book, value for money is amazing
they make drums????? wtf
If sound and quality matters, yamaha is the best choice. @@O_Towne_Bear
You ever type in $4,500 chibson part one and two thanks
Ilike both of u
Love Meg, she's my ideal size!!!😮😮😮000
