I have been talking about Yamaha acoustic guitars for years now. Absolutely one of the best "bang-for-the-buck" guitars you can own. Had my first back in the 90s and just picked up a APX600FM (until I can afford one of those Taylor's that you keep playing, grrrr). ALSO: As always, Megan, love your playing.
Yeah the torrefied tops really sound amazing out of the box and then when you plug them in and see electronics that honestly rival anything on any guitar at any price point. They are a performer's guitar. They're built to be on the stage.
Go with the sound and your playing skills to bring the best tone out, not the name on the head of the guitar. Most Taylor guitars are not that good, especially the entry-level ones and in the Andy Powers era. You’ll just pay for the brand.
I just got a used Yamaha A3CM DLX (HSC sold separately). It's about as flawless as an acoustic I have every played. Without plugged in, it does exactly what it needed to do, crystal clear highs and lower bass compared to a dreadnought. Fit and finish are near perfect. I am still working on the amp sounds which are good so far. I definitely recommend this guitar. And it has a decent price for all solid woods. The curious thing about this guitar is why the DLX is the same price as the the regular guitar???
You are a joy to listen to. You nailed it. Right there Folks...that's it everything you need to know about this guitar. Well you just heard it all. I ordered one today. Most players do not get these mid priced Yammmmi's. They are a bargain. Hello from Canada 🐮
That is a beautiful guitar. And your playing beautiful also. 👍👍❤️❤️I have a Yamaha ACM and it’s an amazing guitar with an amazing voice- Yamaha guitars are really good quality at good prices. Speaking of, how much is this guitar? I think that might be a good thing to add to your demos the price point
Did you guys do something to bring out the base in this guitar, it seems to be a bit much. I like the sound, but it is bassy and, at teh same time the lower strings seem to have a bit of a tin sound
Seems like they did bring out the bass, however the one I have has a lower bass response compared to my Guild D50 which was completely expected. My guitar's highs are quite bell like.

I like and play my A3R more than my Taylor(-;

Awesome thanks. I just purchased this guitar and I love it. Best guitar I have ever owned!
Nice! I love Yamaha guitars. Just wondering if you might be able to review the Yamaha LL16D some time. Thank you!
I just picked up the sandburst version of this guitar. It sounds fantastic. Now I am looking for a HSC. Not having much luck.

I have the AC5R...really great.
I have the Rosewood version and I love it. A lot of bang for the buck.
Is rosewood brighter or warmer than mahogany?
@@MrSeeker42 I haven't tried the mahogany one so I'm not sure but these are just wonderful instruments to play and such great value for what you get.
Have this guitar can vouch it's the best guitar I have ever played
