The purple "comes and goes) wit "coolness" always thought the 308 was gorgeous, and finally removed by enough decades of dorkiness relevant to magnum PI, can't wait to see the berlinetta up and running :)
I was wondering if I was the only one who felt that way LOL! Don't put coolant in that white reservoir under the frunk. Its the windshield washer bottle, lol. Those 390 tires are generally only available from Coker tire. Figure about $500 a corner. Also, that oil leakage on the passenger side of the motor is often the cam seals. If you are doing belts anyway, I would change them too, but you probably already knew that.
The outer tie rod arm ball joint on the passenger side looks way different and perhaps collapsed when compared to the drivers side. However what's more important was the oil temp was 145 and my temp hit 210 when all I could think of was well. Legs.... Great video everyone involved. Thanks.
This video reminds me back in 1986 my very first commercial real estate client a self made millionaire, wanted me to buy his 84 low miles Ferrari GTS cheap for $15k a great deal price. I denied the deal as that Ferrari was black in color! I should have bought it then get it painted red the color I like!
LOVE THE COLOR!!!! That is something different that you never see on old Ferrari's, its like "root beer brown" in one light, yet looks like "purple kool-aid" depending on the lighting. That color would look AWESOME on a 1970's/80's Lincoln, Cadillac, Buick Electra 225, Olds 98, Mercury Marquis Brougham, early-mid 70's Chrysler New Yorker/Imperial/Cordoba. Just order the matching brown leather interior on one of those barges. Also I can see this being deaths by a thousand cuts, yeah it looks great, runs decent but has 10-20 years of deferred maintenance on it. Previous owner probably never drove it to know all the crap that was broken.
Very beautiful color! Hoped you would do a video on it when we saw it in the background. Not a fan od the US bumpers though, but hard ro fight regulations I guess!
I had an 82 Peugeot 505 from 1990 to 2001. It had the 390mm wheels. I paid over $600 for a set of Michelin which was the only manufacturer of those at the time.
