It was legendary. Smacky the Frog with just Mitch's voice knowing he was looking the ceiling had more zip on it.
This guy is absolutely hilarious, love his jokes, and his style. Absolute genius, I understand some people don't get his comedy, which goes to show you how ahead of his time he was

I think this recording is actually from Mitch's tour with Stephen Lynch, which is when he had Al Madrigal opening for him. If so, I was at that show. Side note, I saw Al Madrigal headline at Cobb's in SF a couple years back, got a chance to take a pic with him, got an autographed CD, and got to ask him about the tour. He said Mitch was even funnier off stage. Long live Mitch.

The Warfield is perfect for popular comedy, or any good performance... 2,300 with a big deep balcony and bar below. Mitch is great for closeness i think. he had a interesting vibe i bet.
Crazy how I only found out he passed away a couple months ago, even though I discovered his work back in 2011 when I was still in middle school. I was exposed to a lot of comedians back then and Mitch was one of my favorites.
